What's going on in minmatar space? I used to use rens as a market hub to buy my stuff at jita costs but now they don't have my stuffs on market to buy what I need. Is hek the new main market hub in minmatar space these days?

I wish all the non-jita ones were better. Sure, some are better here and there, but the only one that comes close to volume seems to be Amarr.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Why were there two Minmatar trade hubs to begin with?

Umn, rens is where iv bin getting 6B per month and its almost doubled since 3 months ago, your doing something wrong.

Dude, rethink your operation and listen here, make it so the prices are comparable to Jita, they will come to you they will love you and they will love the system.

He's complaining from the perspective of a customer, you are talking from a trader's perspective.

In my limited experience manipulations on the most basic t2 and meta 3/4 items have become endemic in Rens - often you end up paying 2-3x JIta price for important modules/rigs if you have to fit a ship in Rens.

For a customer this is a problem, for a trader the long distance to Jita and the limited competition are boons.

Basic herd logic and they mainly gather in Jita. It's the Walmart of eve.

Maybe they should lower sales taxes in the other hubs to spur more volume.

heavily manipulated hubs are fun. You keep hauling in goods from other hubs, sell out quickly and still make a profit....

I started trading at Hek 5 years ago, and it was pretty active even then. Even though I was a small time trader with a very different perspective. I was not aware of Rens, and when I did find out, it seemed to be pretty far away.

Hek is at the junction of 3 regions, and right next door to some interesting low sec, which I feel helps it to flourish. The fact that the regional market does not tell the price of items one jump away (in another region), helped me get started by hauling stuff one jump for some great margins :)

I also enjoyed the community that used to hang around Hek all that time ago, even though they baited me into losing my first Drake!

Any colour you like.

There were no BCS IIs in Rens last night, you may be right.

It's a shame, Rens was my hub of choice for years.

Rens because it's close to Ammatar and some pre-agents change biggest mission hubs.
Hek because it's accessible for many who have "issues" doing their stuff at higher than 0.5 sec, it's also very close to low sec.

Rens is dying sooner or later, because of the Agent changes and Hek nearby

The Missionrunner moved to Lustrevik because of the LvL 4 Agents in that systems.

I believe the gap between Dodixie and Rens has grown, while the gap between Hek and Rens has narrowed. It feels as though Rens has slowed slightly while Dodixie and Hek have gotten busier.
