You were doing so well, then you hit this one! Plex do nothing to ISK other than move it.

Eh... by my calculations, plex account for about 20% of the total transaction and broker fees daily.

We're talking about 25 billion isk in transaction taxes and broker fees every day from just plex.

I guess you /could/ take that as being plex. But it's an indirect method. It's really use the fees and taxes already mentioned.

Sadly ISK spends his entire time changing orders by 1/100th of himself every few minutes....

I guess the best ISK sink is PvP.

Especially those guys carrying PLEXes with their industrial capital ships getting blown up.
It is true, stupidity has no boundaries .

Unfortunately, this is a material sink, not an isk sink. No isk leaves the game when this happens.

Not only is PvP not an ISK sink, it actually drives an ISK source: insurance payouts. PvP causes material to be destroyed (directly) and ISK to be created (indirectly via insurance).

i think is very clear where does it come from, whats more interesting is where does it go.

i guess the number one sink must be SOV bills (all of SOV claimed), second sink must be corporate offices, and a far third sales tax, with NPC corp tax as fourth.

my point is that the biggest sinks are on organizations rather than on individuals, if there's so much inflation the best way to fight it would be taxing individuals more. and by inflation lets not draw parallels to irl inflation... unlike on eve in real life currency doesn't grow in trees.

now, raising sales tax is a bad idea, or at least one that will **** off far more people than another hike on NPC tax...

shall we now turn this into yet another "nerf highsec" thread?

Isk sinks are good, they make remaining isk worth more.

Material sinks are bad, they make remaining materials worth more (and isk worth less)

Smile

I also don't like telling people they're wrong. I'll do it, but I don't /like/ doing it.

While it's out of date:

suggests skill books are one of the largest sinks in the game.

How does ISK enter the game/economy.

There are 2 theoriesgoing around now:
1) A stork brings it to mommies & daddies after 9 months of waiting
2) When daddy loves mommy he gets this twinkle in hiseye after a fifth of Jack Daniels & puts his yahoo into mommies hoooha & 9 months later a bouncing babyISKie pops out Lol

OK kidding aside use google & search for ISK faucets:
here is a good link of both faucets & sinks: Its the Economy stupid

Think about what you are typing, because it is making you look ********.

Plex are not an isk sink in the slightest. If a plex is destroyed, no isk is lost. If a plex is created, no isk is lost. Plex are not purchased from an NPC, so no isk is lost. Plex are not sold to npcs, so no isk is created.

MARKET TRANSACTION TAX is the sink. Holy crap dude.

Edit, apparently returded, spelled properly, is a bad word, and we shouldn't be saying things that will make mentally handicapped people feel like they aren't special snowflakes.

ISK comes from a magical land called "NULLSEC", where no-one ever grows old and the people are always happy, and dancing , and friendly to strangers. Really, really. Roll

I think Planentary interactions is also a big ISK sink. Some of it could be counted as tax.

1. When you use NPC custom office in high sec the tax is 10% for export
2. When you build a new Planentary station it will eat like 5 - 20m ISK depending on your skills and the PI setup

Tax in gerneral will be one of the biggest isk sinks in eve.
