So, if I'm understanding correctly, you want the navigator to show not just the next plotted system, but other systems that link to the next furthest system on the plotted on the route as well?

Possibly even with another indicator to show how many jumps that gate would be to your intended destination, assuming you don't turn around and come back to your current system? Sounds good.

Just smth that let pilot know the next gate in the overview since the dispayed route left side section could just be collapsed.
