Remote Assistance Nullifier

My idea for a new module which interferes with enemy remote reps.

Targeted module.

Effect: Every cycle there is a 25% chance that the target vessel will be rendered unable to receive remote assistance for the duration of the cycle.

Penalty: the vessel using the module is itself unable to receive remote assistance while the module is active.

Restrictions: this module can only be fitted on carriers. Only one Remote Assistance Nullifier can be fitted at one time. You cannot fit a Remote Assistance Nullifier and a Triage Module on the same ship.

Notes: I see this as a direct counter to Triage Modules while itself remaining a support module and unable to do damage on its own. For analogy: ECM vs ECCM. It does not effect the target vessel's local tank.

Wait don't they already have a module that blocks remote assistance... yeah ECM, it even relies on chance too. Problem solved.

ECM and Sensor Dampeners are what you are looking for.

hmm. the idea is quite cool but it sounds extremely powerful. It would make it easier to kill primaries without introducing any penalties. You could just ignore all logistics and wait till the target suddenly stops receiving reps.

(also: chance based mechanics are just a PITA in pvp (see ECM))

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value
