Does an awoxer need to be docked to be kicked from corp?
Or does it suffice that it's offline?

If it needs to be docked then having a throwaway alt for griefing purposes would potentially close down a whole corp if it never docks in a cloaky.

Docked OR loggrd off.

Even better...Have a corp recruitment policy that minimizes the risk

Yet even with minimizing the risk , you can never totally eliminate it.

If you have one of these guys and you need to get rid of them, be the first to log in after DT, and quickly kick.
You'll need to be fast as it takes less time to load than to kick.

If one cloaky is shutting down your whole corp, I'd suggest finding a new corp.

It's not. And no.
But as the awoxer can be kicked when offline, the point is moot anyway.

As an individual who semi regularly "awoxes", I can tell you the most common reason why it's so easy is because that corp doesn't make the necessary preparations to deal with such a situation.

If you don't want corp thieves stealing from you, you don't give them roles and hanger access.
If you don't want spies, you do background checks and look at their past affiliations.
If you don't want awoxers, you don't fly expensive ships in the same corp as where new recruits go.

Awoxing isn't a game mechanic problem. It's a lazy CEO problem and no game mechanic change will ever fix a lazy CEO.
