really? Sarmatiko doesnt usually release false leaks....

if youre really serious, can you direct your artists to the player made model? it's extremely good. the game needs more awesome ships like that.

Not that I dislike this model, but I like the current Condor model just fine, why all the hate on for it? That asymmetrical wing/engine section looks rakish, imho. Just smooth out the little tower up top--it's too big and too square, just a bit jarring with the overall "long 'n' low" look of the ship--and make the missile batteries more overt, and it would be just right.

EDITS: Multiple typos--Bekuzz I kin taipe rell guud!

Star Wars: the Old Republic may not be EVE. But I'll take the sound of dual blaster-pistols over "NURVV CLAOKING NAOW!!!11oneone!!" any day of the week.

10 bucks says Navigator comes back within a day or so and says he was mistaken and there is a Crow revamp coming. It looks very much like an official but unfinished model to me.

That said, first time I saw it I thought it was a Dust asset.

Start with something simple. Break your model up in individual parts so you keep track on what you're doing so it's easier to scrap and start over when something goes wrong.

Well he says that there is not a new crow model but did he say anything about the raptor Big smile and not to mention some other ships like the Caracal mentioned earlier. In my opinion its a very good looking model and in case that its not official then they should make it official and add it.

if this is indeed the case you need to find whoever made this and hire them couse that is pretty dam good and im kinda curious how long it took him/her to make this one.

Ok well this is odd.

As much as I would love to say Sarmatiko is just crazy, I cannot. Main reason being that I have now with my own eyes seen this crow model in one of the official patch builds as well.

Not saying that means anything though. Maybe CCP for some reason is pushing player created content into patches for testing? No way to know for sure I guess. But the .red file is there and everything. :)

Methinky there is more too this than meets the eye. Looks like a ccp model, on a ccp content patch... must be a ccp model! Maybe? I am so confused.

Yeah Im pretty confused as well... But thats nothing new.

No way for us to know for sure, and it's one of those "have to wait and see" situations.

okay that was a normal map layer slapped on along with the dark and light mapping one as well... this does bring it up to par.

Yeah it made a big difference.

It's actually listed under the same ID code as the Condor with an _A added onto the end and categorized as a caldari frigate in the resource tree.

Hey hybrids aren't looking too bad with the current test numbers, and if they stay that way then the Raptor may actually be less useless. ;)
