In this case apparently meaning a MMO designed for horny teenage boys. All feemale characters, impossible skimpy outfits and impossible body shapes and some naughty content. Advertised mostly on pretty girls in sexy outfits and safe for teens naughtyness. The idea is so brilliant I'm surprised it took this long for someone to do it. It's the worst kind of a mature game, but financially I doubt it can be anything but a success.

Aion is pretty, too, and also F2P... and I think they managed the sex appeal properly, while also having a valid-ish gameplay progression...

So I wonder what demographic data Scarlet Blade uses to guide their visual development, and what the developer meetings sound like. I mean, I can see areola!

Well I've been looking at the game itself and it looks very similar to any other games Aeria has come out with before. Unfortunately I will have to agree with those who posted before me.

It looks like they have taken this game, and to reach a certain demographic, created a standard character that shows no clothing and has a more than modest body.

Unfortunately, most gamers these days have nothing better to look at then pixels on a computer so it does attract that demographic very easily.

Good business move, just not one that will attract myself.

As to your question, my point was that their visual development team is probably talking about what they can do to make the company more money than their other games combined.

Eh, I don't like having a female character in most games nowadays. Somehow, the over-sexualization of both genders is a tad bothering to me. However, EVE Online or even Mass Effect helps me to make more "normal" Human females than most of the games out there.

I mean, I don't get how a "plate" armor piece in Tera looks like a fantasy sex shop's underwear and it really bothers me that some people might find this enjoyable.
