hi im a semi new player. i was looking into faction wars and what you would do in it.

i was wonderg what kind of ships would i fly.

if its profitable, if so, about how much per day could i get.

and how it works.

1) Join Amarr militia.
2) Get a T1 frigate.
3) Go to Arzad.
4) Open a novice plex in system.
5) Repeatedly comment about Micky Nox's mother in local.
6) Profit???

You can fly whatever you want. But if you could look up what FW is on the wiki and other Google sites you'd find that there are complex limits on sizes of ships...so that may limit what you'd use.

How much you'd make is a laughable question. How much I make in a day is different from other people. I'm online and out flying for around 4 hours a day, hunting for 3 and plexing for 1 usually. So I only have 1 hour of actual income. How much would you have? Dono. But if you looked up those sites all over Google searches you can get an idea what would work for you.

As to how it works...again. Google search is your friend. So is forum search.

Join a militia and ask inside the general militia chat. From there you will be directed on what you need to be doing. If you want my personal help you will need to be a member of the gallente militia.

As stated above there are several Internet resources as well as YouTube guides, but an hour of hands on experience should suffice.

Disclaimer: you will lose ships. Be able to afford at least 10-20 fully fit t1 frigs before you embark on your faction warfare journey (don't worry you will soon be able to support this loss with ease).

I joined the Gel faction, strait into a really fun and helpfull corp/allience. I know, I know unheard of in Eve. lol There is alot of profit to be made here, and I am sure it is the same across all factions. Just make sure u find a good home, and like the other poster said. 10-20 ships should be a good start.

I have no idea how the other factions are, but if u want a nice group of pilots to fly with join Gel, and to boot as far as I have seen, all the caldari pilots I have come across win or loss, have been really nice ppl also. So either way, is a win win for you.

Join the minmatar faction.

Go to Siseide or Dal. Open up the scanner. Do a system wide scan. It will list three complexes--medium, small and novice.

Take your T1 Rifter to the novice plex. Kill the NPC rats that are there. Wait 10 Minutes within 30kilometers of the plex station. Collect about 10k LP.

Only small ships can go into the Novice plex, so you are pretty safe. Just warp away if someone shows up.

You can convert your LP to ISK by buying stuff with LP and selling it for ISK. you will clear about 3-5 million ISK for one novice plex--but this varries.

you don't need any friends, or any help.

I would fit 2 wcs to my rifter if I were you, but I am a coward.

10million LP? don't you mean 10k?

Also, if you do as Seasaw suggests you will likely die. Seasaw is quite practised at it and thus a wily foe but when I'm bored I do like enjoy chasing him till something interesting happens. Catching his pod is especially fun ^^
