Thanks for the lock and the proof that, Covetors have been "balanced" (LOL) and are now useless. At least now I know never to build and try to sell a covetor/hulk because people would have to be insane to purchase one.......

Covetors are not useless. They are simply no solo mining solution anymore. Other barges / exhumers are better suited for solo mining.

Remove standings and insurance.

Wish I had known this before getting into one... fortunately for me I didn't pay for it.. it was given to me by a friend of olde.

Will have to tell him it got popped but since he knew I was going to solo mine in it I suppose he should've given me something smaller.

As quick as I got popped in it though, I actually doubt that even if I had an escort that the escort would've been able to pop the ganker before I got popped since he wouldn't have been able to shoot the ganker till after he took the first shot.....

It's a no win situation it seems... unless you have 3 other people guarding you at all times...

Now that I know this useful information I will save up for a Mackinaw.. it seems to have more survivability.

In this thread, a very stupid miner complains about mining barges receiving a colossal buff.

Admittedly, "very stupid miner" is somewhat redundant.
