Questions about character bazaar

Since watching that character bazaar forums i have noticed several behaviours which seem to be pretty much supported by ISD, so i decided i should see if anyone could explain

1. bumping with alts several times a day ( obvious ones, bought by that char one day before, with messages like "hmmm, your price seems right, let me think about it" ) - is it legal ?

2. opening new threads on the same character over and over, even when ISDs are closing theold ones and warning you not to do it. Seems that ISDs threats to ban that player from posting are empty - they did not do that even after 10 threads.

Then I suppose the ISD are aware of it. Other than that I'm not sure what you're attempting to accomplish here. ISD have always enforced forum rules at their whim. The CB is no different. But that's kind of like expecting a cop to waste a perfectly good doughnut by getting up and rendering service to a citizen in need whereas he would if only you were the mayor.

I posted a character for sale 2 days ago. He was sold in less than an hour....I luv the CB...

1. "Friendly bumps" are not allowed, as per the CB rules. Additionally, any posts that are not "bids or questions regarding the characters" (rule 25) are not allowed. If you see (or suspect) this sort of behavior, please report it with the appropriate details and it will be handled.

2. Thread spam, especially re-opening locked threads, is prohibited by the forum rules. If you spot it, please report it and indicate that the OP is re-posting locked threads, and it will be taken care of.

In any case, it is important that you provide all relevant details when you report a post. For example, if a post is re-posted three times and a different ISD handles each case, it is possible that we will simply miss it being a recurring problem, due to each of us only having seen it once. Please indicate the rule violation you're reporting to have the rules enforced appropriately.

Also, a small reminder: it is entirely the CCP Community Team who handles bans, not ISD. ISD simply do not have that power. Whether a poster gets warned, banned, or let off the hook is completely CCP's prerogative.
