Incursion Frigate Only Sites

So now that we have logi frigates what better way to put them to use than to have frigate only incursion sites? I’ve done incursions here and there and I know they typically require a large investment and rather specific SP requirements. Frigate sites would allow less experienced, lower sp, and the more economical pilots of EVE to enjoy the benefits of incursions. These sites, like their counterparts, would require logistical support to run. The reward would need to be less to keep the “risk vs. reward” grand equation equal but I think it would still be worth it. Thoughts?

thoughts? I wishawhole new pirate incursion would get created that had new scout sites which could only be accessed with frigate only ships due to an acceleration gate restriction

That's what I'm thinking. I wouldn't make them with the possability of one ship being able to tank it either.

I'd say 200 lp and 1m per site would be nice, and balance them for small fleets of 4-5 frigates.

Make it idiot-proof and someone will make a better idiot.

Vanguards typically pay out 10-11 mil per person depending on the number in fleet with a 7-8 min run time for newer players. I would guess a 4-5 mil per site with a similar run time would be acceptable. That would beat out lvl 3 missions in most cases. I agree with a smaller fleet comp. 2 logi and 3-5 dps ships would be a good balance. Makes it easier to get people together. That seems to be the issue these days is finding the right people to get things going.

Scout sites would be nice to change like this, as no-one ever tends to run them.

I like this idea, or perhaps simply buff scout sites... they are a joke.

Right now, its basically just battleships and logis.... for everything.
The exceptions being an Assault site where the fleet must split, and one of the gates doesn't let in anything bigger than a BC (I may be mistaken, but I don't think it even lets T2 command ships in).
The other are NCOs, where command ships and T3s (mainly legions and absolutions) do well, although a fleet of vindis also does very well, or maybe Bhaals too, and machs and NMs do ok if fit with short range 800s/pulse.

Scout sites in general should be buffed, but I like the idea of smaller scale incursions by non-sansha factions that require the use of cruiser or smaller ships - perhaps these other pirate incursions could be:
VGs - Destroyers or smaller
Assaults: Cruisers or smaller
HQ: Battlecruisers or smaller
Of course, T3s would just flood everything by the VGs
If sansha can exclude a sleipnir, but not a Talos, then maybe we could have these other incursions exclude T3s in the assaults.

Max is 10.3 unless you go out of high sec, which almost no one does. At 12 people, its only 8.3? 8.8?

like FW plexes as i find it ridiculous that sansha would only send frigates for every site with just the odd big ship and then all of a sudden a super-carrier turns up for a site....... my mind boggles at the glaring craziness

'Tech3 ships need to be put down, like a rabid dog drooling everywhere in the house, they are out of line' CCP Ytterbium Nerf missile range into place where is the TD missile change?  ..projectiles should use capacitor. ABC's should be T2 HABC and nerf web strength its still too high

The BS fleets get a bit insane. Especially the Nightmares. Tachyons with 3 tracking computers, tracking enhancer, tracking rigs, and tracking enhancing Scimitars. Before you know it you're blapping frigates with long range large guns. I don't see a large gap between BS and cruisers just because of where the T3 class fits. The only disadvantage they have over the BS is DPS. I think the overall dps after you factor in better tracking and mobility is the same. So I see little value is segragating large from medium hulls. Destroyers, frigates, and their T2 counterparts would be perfect.

Don't forget gleam for +25% tracking, no stacking penalty
Still, I like Pulses... they don't need an Elutriation rig to run easily, they have double the tracking of tachs using standard ammo (even with scorch, they still track 20% better than tachs with gleam)
They can do a bit more DPS, and with my fit, Sorch hits out to 70km before going into falloff.

A TE and tracking rig won't help much due to their low tracking boost, and the heavy stacking penalties.
Though, the TE is nice for range.
You're better served with tank mods, so you only need 1 mid for the tank, and can put on more sebos and a web or TP
