For these skills, and considering my budget (Can be a little over, or as much under as you like), and considering i'm still learning pvp (aka i've done some random solo roaming on an alt and know the basics), what ship and fit would you recommend for plexing?

Sticking with this budget, since it lets me fly 10 ships and still have money left over, aka "never fly anything you can't afford to lose" philosophy

That amount of ISK per ship will probably land you in the destroyer class.

Corax is not bad but personally I'd up the budget just a bit and fly a caracal.

Not today spaghetti.

I´d suggest to take a look into the blaster-moa (though you would have to get your hands on medium blaster skill first).
Not sure about the fitting, probably meta 3 for cost-effectivness (read: cheapness).

ARGH-EDIT:

Sorry, somehow i was focusing on Cruisers.

Destroyer or merlin i´d suggest aswell.

You really need to train Weapon Upgrades to V then Advanced Weapon Upgrades to IV. Without these it will always be difficult for you to fit ships properly.

For now you will have to resort to rigs to give you the grid and cpu you need.

Condors with Track Disruptors or Remote Sensor Dampeners are flavour of the month. This is for the following reasons:

1) They are faster than most ships, and can therefore dictate the range of the engagement to 20-24km i.e. within wrap disruptor range, but not with warp scrambler range
2) They can use a Tracking Disruptor or Remote Sensor Damps to negate the enemies damage at that range.
3) They can fit Light Missiles, which will apply reasonable damage at that range.

Something along the lines of this. You can swap the shield extender for another Tracking Disruptor, or swap both Tracking Disruptors for Remote Sensor Damps. Then use the rig slots to make it fit with your skills.

[Condor, Missile Kiter]
Micro Auxiliary Power Core I
Damage Control II

Limited 1MN Microwarpdrive I
Warp Disruptor II
DDO Photometry Tracking Disruptor I, Optimal Range Disruption Script
Medium F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction

Light Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Light Missile
Light Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Light Missile
Light Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Light Missile
[empty high slot]

[empty rig slot]

Thanks for the replies so far guys!

Yeah, I think i'm definately sticking with Missile based ships, since my entire character is geared towards such - But unsure on getting the Light Missile skill to 5 or not for Light Missile Launcher II, especially since I can use Limos launchers and lose I think 3 DPS with the volley staying the same.

What do you think?

talwar for destroyer class (cheap destroyer missile boat)
kestrel for frigate class (more damage and more ehp, but have less speed compare to condor)
Iogrim
Matterhorn.

Seconding Condor suggestion.

Though as it is FOTM lately, you may have many people running from you. Works well if you are looking to plex without being pestered much though.

I think that getting light missile V will add some damage, and open up Light Missile Specialization which is anothwe 2% per level.

Tech 2 Launcher also allow Precision and Rage ammo, but these are pretty sucky still compared to Caldari Navy Scourge.

Limos are cheap too.

I would train it in the long term, but its not an absolute must.

Get Weapon Upgrades and AWU first.

If you intend to fight the Mancursus is the manliest of them all.

Manly until you get damped to <20km, missiled until you run out of cap boosters, then missiled some more until you cry like a little girl.

Given that you need a couple tries anyways, why not buy one of each you can somewhat fit? You'll never know what ship you liked most unless you lost it <.<

edited a lot: If your balls touch the ground, you fly a rifter... becasue rifters are special. https://zkillboard.com/corporation/98114328/losses/ this might be the fastest for you to find a fit you like, since those are what your friends actually use. ^^ If you find a decent fit, the guy who lost that ship might be quite kewl and take you along for a ride!
