[Art] CCP - Use the Fury model instead of the Echo model!

A new Pirate Rookie ship for the Angel Cartel is currently slated to use the "Echo": IMAGE LINK

I suggest using a much sleeker ship that has more in common with the Dramiel and Daredevil ships, the "Fury": IMAGE LINK

Echo looks too much like a fighter drone.

Sorry mate, I'm happy that CCP is using that model for the noobship, this saves the much cooler model for a ship that you will fly for more than a day or two.

We don't know yet the plans for the new expansion, maybe they have a cooler plan tied to the new noobships?

If that is indeed the plan, then I agree with you. However, it would be a shame to let the Fury model languish in the incompetant hands of NPCs forever. :(

The Fury is also a bit too big, it looks more like a destroyer than a Frig in my opinion.

That would be nice actually, a full range of pirate ships if you chose to align yourself with a specific faction.

How about that to give it a boost to LS: Pirate Faction Warfare.

Agree, the echo looks perfect for a pirate fighter, not a frigate.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

I dont really mind what CCP ends up using for the rookie ships, but the ship the OP proposes does look alot more like what youd expect from an angel frigate while the one they are using right now does look like a fighter drone.

BoBwins Law: As a discussion/war between two large nullsec entities grows longer, the probability of one comparing the other to BoB aproaches near certainty.

I believe that is ultimately the plan.

Frankly I have advocated for years that we be able to fly all of the pirate ships in game... and if we are very, very good boys and girls even be able to occasionally get a Concord vessel (with reasonable stats of course).

The makers of Battlestar Galactica might have a problem with CCP using the 'Fury' model.
