WOOP WOOP for the space police!

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

I, for one, would like to support our brothers on the thin blue line by requesting the return of their police lights. How else will police fleets let the world know they're getting pulled over?

Our wormhole home system is constantly beset by perverted voyeurs, intent on probing us in all manner of methods most unbecoming. A police issue comet with its flashing lights idling in our POS would send a powerful message to such shameless capsuleers to steer clear. Gone would be the tedious need to constantly threaten the miscreants in local, or undertake the great hassle to violence their frigates with our c1 dreadnaught fleet.

A simple change to one little ship would make wormhole life bearable again. Please, CCP, if you have any shred of decency in you, give us our police lights again.

...or they could just allow players to fly the Gallente Police Ship

Seems like an easy way to go, but wtf do I know? Big smile

I haven't flown one of those in a very long time. But the flashing light was the only highlight i can remember from it.

To remove the flashy police light is an affront to all that is holy.

Camouflage doesn't work in the dark.

But blinky lights sure do!

I used to have a clever sig but I lost it.

I much prefer the new skin.

Make it idiot-proof and someone will make a better idiot.

I like blinky lights. They're shiny.

-1 Current skin is much better. Fits the navy theme.

I don't see how the current jungle camo is fitting of a navy at all. Besides, if you read the description it's a police ship, adopted for navy and capsuleer use.

I love the ship's old skin and its police motif. Ideally I'd love to see a v3 version of the old, striped skin, with the GFPD branding from the even older skin. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v297/Karibanu/rozzers.jpg

It not really camouflage as its not really intended to blend into the environment, for that you need a cloaking device. Better to think of it as warpaint, designed to tell you this is some kind of military vessel. Yes if you read the description it says "police ship", however the ship called "Federation Navy Comet". The only one available to fly in game is the Navy version.

Why would you pick something so dull, out-of-place and outright silly for your "war paint" though? Far better to pick something distinctive and striking, something that stands out, like, say, a big white stripe down the side!
