I'm just wondering if anyone else finds it slightly annoying to have to log in to the My Account page of the Eve website to check when a Pilot's Licence expires rather than having the date available somewhere ingame?

The Character Sheet shows the Pilot's Name, Clone, Home System, Background, Date of Birth, School, Corporation, Security Status and Bounty.

Would it be possible to add one more line called "Pilot's License Expires" with the Date and Time it expires?

After all, a pilot can pay ingame using a PLEX, it might be nice to be able to check ingame when a pilot will need to make that payment.

Or are there reasons this would be a bad idea?

Edit: Changed the title to be a Proposal. Is there a Moderator online who might be able to move the thread to 'Assembly Hall', please?

Posting in a sensible thread.

A professional astro-bastard was not available so they sent me.

Isn't there already a Pilot License tab on the character sheet? I can't log in right now, but I could swear there was.

There is a Pilot License tab that offers you the possibility to buy a PLEX, but it doesn't let you know when your Pilot's License will expire.

This tab might be another location to have the expiry date show.

I think it just tries to sell you PLEXes.

Nice idea, but better post it into Features and Ideas Discussion.

One can use EVEMon, which shows the account status and the expiration date.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

It is exported in the API and EVE-Mon shows it. But yes, it would be nice, and sensible to have this in game too.

Posting in stealth nerf hi-sec thread.

[insert random rubbish that irritates you personally] is further evidence that Eve is dying/thriving*

This is true. Evemon screams bloody murder when your subscription is about to run out.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

Nice idea.

Turn your title into the following:- [Proposal] Pilot Licence Status Check.

Then ask for the thread to be moved to the Assembly Hall forum.

Destination SkillQueue:- It's like assuming the Lions will ignore you in the Savannah, if you're small, fat and look helpless.

Isn't this supposed to be shown in the Character sheet in-game?

All I ever get is "Pilot License in order but it never hurts to buy extra PLEX" even if I'm set to expire the next day. Utterly useless.

So there IS actually a way of checking when your sub runs out?

I have been looking for that info for a long time and after not finding it (ingame, of course!) i decided that it's just not there and i'll have to keep track myself. I have been loving the EVEMon feature that reminds you a week earlier for that reason.

Yes, this info needs to be in the ingame 'character sheet' instead of buried in some website. I can't really understand why it isn't.
