Hello,


I'm a university student, studying at Liverpool John Moores University.

I'm writing a dissertation on user interfaces (UIs), with an investigation into MMO UIs, and the best choices within that area, relative to HCI, and Usability Engineering.


To research the hypotheses relative to MMOs, I need to acquire and collate data, and the most direct method is via a survey.

I do not ask for (or want) personal information outside of a rough age range (nothing specific to protect identities).


Some of you ( if not a large amount of you) may well play multiple MMOs.

If you wish to provide data for more than one MMO, feel free to run the survey multiple times.

The data collected will be open for perusal upon completion of the project, and will be available to developers if they wish.

I don't play EVE online but it is the game I play the most

Yeah, there's a few security programs that do that. Then again, I've discovered over the years that a lot of security programs have flaws.
I've yet to run into problems with survey monkey myself, but as ever YMMV.

And outliers are welcome - every bit of data helps paint a more detailed picture

No problem, school is a big enough pain without having to deal with trolling Eve players lol.

Yea I work as a computer technician and most internet security suites I see cause more issues than they prevent. The majority of viruses/malware can be avoided with common sense.

Another one that you may be interested in is malwarebytes. It's more of a post malware software but it does the best job (as far as free software goes) at removing malware threats.

Granted. I guess that was a brainfart. Can't do much about it now without disregarding all the answers that have already been given
On the flip side, perhaps it'll avoid the "I am 12 and wat is this" thing?
