Wolf - Jaguar - Loki or Vagabon for PvP

Hey! I guess there is a big difference on these 4 ships when it comes to pvp! But im wondering witch of these 4 ships would you pick for solo pvp and what would you fitt it with!? If anyone have any suggestions im pretty much open for anything! :-)

Definitely go Wolf. I don't think there's a ship that can survive an up-close-and-personal Wolf with a Nosferatu other than a few of the other Assault Ships. And those probably shouldn't be your primary target anyway, since you want to kill things your ship is made to kill, not duel ships exactly like your ship.

Just beware of Condors, Mauluses and other Ewar / Technical ships.

Stabber Fleet Issue. You can fit it so many ways I won't list them now but this is the ship if minmitar cruisers are your thing. Dual rep, buffer your choice.

Stabber FI, vagabond or if you have the money cynabal

AFs might be worthy when CCP decide to rebalance T2 but atm some T1 frigs are better than the wolf/jaguar

Loki is good but maybe is better if you start with some T2 cruiser

Also don't start with t2 ships in general, much better to start off with something cheap and easy.

Minmatar Frigates are currently in a bad shape.
Stabber Fleet Issue can be a really good frigate murder due to its tracking bonus.
Vagabond and Cynabal are really great if you know how to use them. But they need a lot of manual piloting.
Loki is also nice for fleets but since it is a T3 it will make everyone wanting to blob you.

Kiting 280mm artillery wolf is death on a stick. I likes it.

Compared to amarr whos entire t1 lineup is decidedly meh.

Well cheap and easy can mean easy death to! So i guess im gonna look up some fits on some t2 frigs and check out the cruisers etc and wait with the Loki and more expencive ships until i get better i guess :-)

Ehh... Depends.

A lot of the time you die in say a t1 cruiser you wouldn't have survived just because you were in t2.

Once you get the hang of eve pvp less than 50% of your losses are fair fights.

If you like the vaga you will love the SFI. Most of the capabilities of the Vaga, no where near the cost. Great ship to learn to do solo/semi solo roaming in.

How is it not?

Tormentor is useable and so is the executioner..

However the Punisher is so **** that if you take an average between the three it drags all of them down to rifter levels of useless.

(but thankfully the amarr AS lineup is full of win? ^^ Vengeance über alles.

breacher, and TD slasher with scram and web will kill a AC wolf in web range, not easily but they have a good chance.

Do you know what kind of range the wolf gets with barrage? Both of those would get utterly dumped on by a proper wolf..

The hell?

Do you know what kind of range the wolf gets with barrage? Both of those would get utterly dumped on by a proper wolf..

w/o TE something like 1+15

meaning at 9 km a breacher can tank your 120/140dps until it ran out of charges
and a TD slashes just cut your range and your dps
plus both of them can run awy at will
