4. Great story! (Yes EVE has a story! and is incredibly good!)

Ehhhh, I disagree here. The story is *okay*, but not great. For a game that hinges so much on the players, I'd really like to see more of the lore reflect the role that we play in the world, and have our actions influence galactic politics.

Yes, this is indeed a great game.

However, let's not forget to mention the Graphics, such as the Nebula's, Planets, Moons, etc. There's a lot of very excellent eye candy in this game.

I own Empryean Age. I've also read it several times over. I wouldn't call it great. Golzalez relies heavily on overused tropes and cliches.

Stopped reading when I saw ..."1. The best developers I've seen in my 20 years of gaming experience!"

Where does your game experience come from....Microsoft? Shocked

Have you ever heard of EA?

That's like calling Attila the Hun a model citizen because he's not as bad as Satan.

Don't get me wrong, CCP isn't bad overall. But they're far, far, FAR from being the best developer I've seen in the last 5 years, never mind 20. The balance in this game, for example, is atrocious, for an MMO so old. CCP Fozzie recently said that the balance of weapons in EVE is better now than it's ever been. And with horror I realized that he was absolutely right! And that depressed the hell out of me.

Man I just wanted to see Helga in a bikini! The developers are great! And if you do not understand the sarcasm in the post, I'm sorry :p

My gaming experience starts (apart from arcades) with SSI`s Pool of radiance rpg on commodore 64. And do you really think so low about CCP that they would resort to such desperate measures?

Takes me back. Apart from a whack-a-mole game you could input onto one of those briefcase sized Sharp calculators; I started on a VIC20. Also played SSI games for a lot longer than was healthy; but on an old 4.77mhz XT. 8086 or 8088 chip? I can't remember now. It was such a luxury (After the tape drive on the VIC20 and the 360KB drive) to upgrade to a 10mb, double bay height hard disk. It was sooooo fast. Lol

Now look at what we carry in our pockets for gaming.
