Hello guys.

I have a question hopefully you experts can help me.

Here goes. Im currently in a 0.0 space, and i run anomalies, mostly forsaken hub, so there wont be any frigs that scram or web. Curently im flying oracle to run anomalies, and training towards amarr cruiser V. Now, i dont know if i should stay with oracle, or fly command ship, or fly legion. Oh yeah, they are blood raiders anomalies.

Thank you for any advices.

Faction bs is too expensive for me atm. And the possibility of losing it during transport from highsec to my home system is kinda put me off. Any other alternatives besides faction bs?

You should aim for a nightmare or a paladin.

While a faction BS with shiny mods is definitely one of your best choices, it seems like an unnecessary risk. I manage 0.0 ratting just fine in my hurricane, so spending that much seems like overkill. If your oracle works, I say stick with that until you find a need for something else.

You can build your ship perfectly to your need
Remenber :
Pve Nightmares are not really fast, try to adjust your imperial navy multifrequency-optimal to mach with orbit range of most NPC's BSs
( if over 55 km or nedd 3-4 range mods , consider more gank with other crystals , will safe you cap for firing too)
Same stuff, learn the best range to warp-in from the anomaly center so you dont have to move to close the range on next spaws
Fit 3-4 Heat sink II better if 2 are faction
If you fell to need more traking , Tscripted TConputers work better of TEnanchers
Faction ships do NOT fit T2 DPS rigs
( its a waste to have 2 rig slots with only 50 points of calibrations )
best result for Nightmares are from Locus or discarge rigs if powergrig don't go over your possibilty
Don't OMNI-tank , 3 specific active resistances are usually fine for everything, then its a buffer/burst thing
About cap, the easiest way is to fit a cap-booster ( expecially because tachyons are always hungry ) but in a long run can be a problem resupply it ( even cargo storage and where to find/make they )
Usually Nightmares aren't always cap stable
( swicting to standard crystals lower your DPS but save 50% of your firing-need cap
anyway a dead rat do NOT dps on you ) ,
so if your shield is full and cap low , try to tank less and shoot more hard
About shield booster , if you have the isk for a Farm-Nigthmare my advice is to fit a XL C-type Gist, it have a really good shield/cap ratio plus a good burst , if you want to go cheap a Large B-type Pith as minimal
This was something like i was using in drone region to 50km orbits :

Imperial Navy Heat Sink

I can saw without a doubt that the best overall ratting ship is the Navy Domi. Nothing can even come close to its DPS and its Tank is very solid. Having both Hybrid/Drone bonuses really helps the DPS shine with lots of low slots.

For you case, I'd recommand you stick with oracle. It can easily achieve 1100 dps (+cheap implants) and sustainable tank with pure T2 mods for forsaken hub. while any other choice with cost you a fortune to achieve similiar dps. Taking in the risk of being ganked in null, oracle is your best choice.

I remember a fit like this that I was using.

high:
8XMega pulse laser II

mid:
10mn afterburner II
2X tracking computer II

low:
3X heat sink II
medium armor repair II
true sansha armor EM hardener II
true sansha armor thermic hardener II

rig
medium anti-em pump I
medium energy locus coordinator I
medium capacitor control circuit I

I'm never going to understand this attitude towards making money, even if this is a game.

Why wouldn't one want to optimise the earning potential, especially when one is using something as inefficient as a Cane?

One is probably worried that one will lose one's expensive ship. This would cut into one's profit margin. One often looks at risk vs reward when calculating potential profit in one's endeavors.

I hope your home is heavily blue'd if you're going to take our a marauder or faction shipShocked I personally wouldn't risk something that big going onto my killboard.

Remember, fly what you can afford to lose.
