Honestly. It has been years since I have read or posted anything to channel chat that is worthwhile. I think that it is time that CCP locked down the militias. What I mean is if you have one character in Cal Mil, then you cannot join any other militia under that account at all. Now if you want a spy alt in opposition militia then you need to spend $12.95 to do so. Sure this won't catch everyone but I feel it is a good start to ending militia spies. I am Ohishi and I approve this message.

Erm because NO ONE who has some reliability in militia posts critical intel in militia channel?!!
There are enough other channels where spies have no entry.

I do. Only because I have such a good RL career that it really is cheaper for me to just pay the bill for a year sub. I do this for 8 accounts currently, and when there is 30 PLEX deals I buy them. Small change for the fun that I have. And noone is the wiser that my BoB account is now a GooN.

I know. But I could name a few people that this would **** off. Much like the OGB nerf is going to **** them off. Because sometimes they are the same account.

"Real" intelligence isn't posted in CAL MIL anyway. If a bunch of randoms in an NPC corp want to post fleets and where they're going, it's not going to matter much.

Spying is a part of all warfare, and should be encouraged, not nerfed, in Eve.

Intel is pretty good, but that's within the coalitions. If you're in some crappy corp that is just there or in the NPC corp you're not going to see anything worth your time. All it is is just little kids flopping their hands in the air screaming "watdo!" and scramble to pick the guy with the biggest authority complex as an FC. Most don't even understand basic PvP concepts or terminology as a result....I always suspected the other militias had similar issues in their militia chat.

where is the problem? There are no secrets in FW itself. If you have secrets keep them within your corp. FW spies are trolls, thats all.

if you have a "spy" in your corp.. thats something else

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

I've been in gal and minny, and had an alt in amarr for a while. I can confirm from my experience it's pretty much the same in all militias, you have the "great unwashed" - all the npc, farmer corps, low activity groups, casual players etc, and quite separate from them is the world you enter when you are welcomed into the core of the active militia. Much of the time the general militia are young toons just learning, or trolling alts and spies so the quality of militia chat is only 2 steps above the youtube comments section on a controversial video. The player run intel channels for the respective militias are much better.

OP - It's a massively different experience playing in the "outside" militia, where it feels very much like you and your own against the entire enemy - to playing "inside" the militia, coordinating with others, supporting and being supported, making friends, really getting the benefit of the MM part of the MMO. Honestly I've never had problems integrating myself in any militia, Just get to know people, fly with others outside your own corp, be where the action is, be seen killing and being killed, youll be welcomed in to the more coordinated and active groups. Remember if you have problems integrating with others, or are just a smack talking d*ck that no-one likes, you can always start forming your own intel networks with people or corps you align with.

Don't be surprised if you fly alone or only with your own people/alts that people aren't forthcoming with you with intel. If someone spots a hostile gang they are more likely to tell their friends so they can enjoy a fight themselves, than tell general militia and have the fight whored out from under them or reported back to hostile parties.

Dunno why that guy would be a problem tbh... I've passed by his camp on several occasions w/o problem.

Interestingly then how you are making forum threads and high-fiving each other in your intel channel on the prospect of their eventual departure from FW. But I quess the grand strategy of "blueball them until they get bored" which you have practiced for years with entities like PERVS is a great success.

Obviously having people to fight with is really terrible thing for a froggie militia.

Having people to fight has never been a problem for GalMi, ergo a ******** amount more kills then the squids have. Nice propaganda spin though.

Fun fact - Qcats as a corp has ~1000 less kills as the whole Caldari Militia does according to eve-kill for the month.

PS: As far as "blue balling Ev0ke" after looking at their KB they are on track to easily get more kills then they have in the last 3 months, and a good portion of those kills are from VA and JustK. But hey, let's not muddle your "arguments and good points" with actual facts.

PSS: I suck at Eve and haven't contributed to those numbers in anyway. Just noticed it on the KB.

No one minds having evoke in CalMil, nor does anyone blueball them. If anything, it's quite the opposite - you have our folks engaging them outgunned and outnumbered all the time. What people do mind is evoke mindset in which fights when they don't have clearly overwhelming odds are fights not worth taking. It might make sense from some 'strategic' perspective, but warping an equal fleet into a plex only to be blueballed is not fun. Still, we do get fights and we do beat em more often then not, so no complaints there.

To be honest, caldari milita should pray that evoke stay in fw for a long time because I'd bet that your current 'dominance' would be melting like snow in summer sun the moment they left.
