Any chance of "Homeworld" like ship boardings of space marines/Dusters in the future?

One of my old favorite ships in Homeworld was a ship that'd lock on to another & little dudes could sorta be seen invading a ship Pirate

Now I hear about Homeworld being on the selling block I'd love to see some sort o mechanic like this in the future possbly being enhancedwith Dusbunnies ( Space marines)

This idea has been discussed extensively (Ship boarding). Forum search would be useful for that =P
