So im after creating a tengu pilot with near or perfect skills to fly just a TENGU.


I haven't played eve for a long time and a lot has changed since i last played (learning skills etc was still around when i last played!)


So can any body help me build the near to or perfect tengu pilot for lvl 4 missioning.

Perfect Tengu pilot, eh? Let's see:
* heavy missiles
* heavy assault missiles
* all missile support skills
* Cloaking IV for covert ops cloak
* Medium Railguns plus all gunnery support skills
* Medium Blasters
* Propulsion skills for AB
* All the powergrid skills for fitting an oversized AB
* All the shield tanking skills,
* shield, missile, and hybrid rigging skills
* All the scanning and probing skills
* T2 Light drones
* Siege warfare leadership skills
* Agility skills (e.g. advanced spaceship command)
* CPU skills
plus whatever else I've forgotten.

Caldari Strategic Cruiser - I (enough)
all 5 subsystems (Caldari Offensive Systems etc) - V

Heavy Missile Specialization - V
all support missile skills - V
Heavy Assault Missile Specialization - V (optional, if you going to use HAMLs)

all Shield tanking skills - V (include capacitor skills)

some Navigation skills (afterburners etc) - V

some rigging skills - IV-V (much depends on your fit)

I think that's all you need for doing 4 lvl missions on Tengu with full efficiency. Maybe I forgot something?

There are other skills for "perfect" PvE mission Tengu such as Advanced Weapon Upgrades, but I believe that it does not add anything in your case.

When thinking about the perfect pilot for Lvl 4 missions, you might want to look at this fit in EFT and sort out what skills it needs and if minmaxing, more importantly what it does not need:

Disclaimer: The first fit requires Vulture Boost and Crystal set to have a defence of at least 682 (Angel Cartel) and thus has no need to change between missions, depending on if you have access to a Vulture in fleet. If not, you might want to use the 2nd more expensive version. But remember, if running missions in highsec you are prone to be ganked so the best thing really is to keep costs down.

I have played around with many different Tengu fits, and decided to ditch the target painter based on that. Instead i use the right missiles for the right situations to gain the edge.
