On the topic of (not) your idea, no. There are times where shooting a blue is a necessary situation and being able to tackle them is a must.

AWOXing is a part of EvE.... It adds a ton of valuable danger and ambiance when your friend can turn on you for any reason, be it for profit, revenge, schizophrenia, or a full moon. Forcing people to "play by your rules" by inhibiting the shooting of blues is a terrible idea that will seriously diminish the dangers within EvE! This is just one small step short of preventing people from stealing and scamming, and that's just not something ANYONE here will support.

p.s. This is my understanding of what you are asking:
Inhibit friendly fire.... Make it so you cannot attack players that are in-corp, in-alliance, or even those with positive standings towards you.

Frankly - given the new dueling mechanic, I fully expect CCP to continue their march towards rampant themepark-ism by turning off the ability to awox freely, at least in highsec, and instantiate the CONCORD wtfbbq for it.

the dueling mechanism was something the playerbase WANTED.
its origins are with the intentional placement and flipping of cans to create an artificial "limited engagement" between two players in highsec who wanted to fight, this only came into existence because CCP hadnt coded in a way to temporarily disable highsec concord mechanics for players to fight without declaring a weeklong war.

CCP simply added in a mechanic to make it streamlined for players to accomplish a task they were already doing, they took away no mechanics, they took away no ability to gank or pvp, you can fight just as non-consensually as you want, all they did was allow two player who WANT to fight eachother, to be able to do so without jumping through the hoops of game-mechanics to flag eachother.



as to the other changes CCP has talked about and made, i dont have much to say on, since im rarely in k-space, but i have a hard time believing they would themepark eve, since even if 95% of the playerbase is "risk-averse carebears who dotn want to pvp", the last 5% is generally organized enough to make the game unplayable for the other 95% without having to fire a shot.

Now we have a situation when the standings needs only for some "relation" (sure - to don`t have any relations with them ) with POS guns. And the rest ... I think - here CCP needs to make something.

Ok! Let`s simply disable ability to put some points on your + not in your fleet!!!
U can shoot! But any EWAR actions - not allowed to any of your so-corps and ally member (except - they in the same fleet)
