Racial Decyptors for T2 Invention

I am trying to do T2 invention and I have found that I need Racial Decryptors and all I can find is that they are in the areas that you scan down with probes. Does anyone know which areas those are and do you need to be in the racial area to get their specific decryptors. Any and all info would be very helpful. Thanks

They are all on the market.

Also - you don't 'need' decryptors.... unless you've done you maths.
I've done some really stupid shit in this game.

You will find each racial variety in the same empire space, for high and low. For example, Kor-Ador is Amarr space, so you will find Amarr datafiles there.

For nullsec, go with relevant rat regions. For example, Fountain has Serpentis rats, so it will have the Gallente datafiles because Serpentis rats are normally in Gallente space.

Decryptors are expensive, so they are typically only used for ships and rigs where the material cost is very high.

As already stated, you don't need decryptors, but sometimes they can make jobs more profitable. Always do your math before investing, and never consider a decryptor you found to be anything other than market value. If you can sell it for that amount, you're passing up that much ISK to use it.

Decryptors come from radar signatures. They come out of cans that require you to use a codebreaker (mid slot module) to open. In high sec, competition for radars is not insignificant. Low sec radars often have rats that you won't be able to handle without a decent tank and you're required to kill some of them just to access the cans -- so just bringing a covops probably won't be quite enough.

They are indeed sorted by racial region. If the belt rats are Serpentis, you'll get Gallente decryptors. If Gurista, Caldari. If Angel, Minmatar. If Blood Raider or Sansha, Amarr.
