Never really was much of a Halo fan, but I did enjoy Rooster Teeth's Red vs Blue series, and some reason I imagine there might be a certain couple of alliances that liked the show too :P Recently I found out they're working on a new series and I have to say, completely not what I expected:

I enjoyed both trailers, but it needs more Sarge.

Well that was an unexpected ending... heh, but yeah, does seem to match the animation style.

I'm not much for manga but considering that its Roosterteeth doing it I might give it a shot.

yeah, a show about a little girl holding a giant axe the size of 2 large men with a gun at the other end of it fighting an army of black werewolves with red glowing eyes.

totally not an overgrinded childish Japanese anime concept.

The funny thing is that most of the best/most popular cartoons and shows that probably would have watched from the lates 80s and on has some basis in Japanese anime concepts :p. Looney Toons and Animaniacs being exceptions.... but Transformers, Avatar, Teen Titans, Power Rangers takes scenes from its Japanese equivilant. Japanese culture has pretty much dominated children's TV for quite a while. Hell, one of my parents' favorite shows was Robotech. Olllllllld anime. Doesn't hurt to let loose, quit being seriouis, and look back at that stuff once in a while. I'm more interested in the fact that RoosterTeeth is doing this though. Wonder what they plan to do with it.

EDIT: At least the above applies in the US.. not sure elsewhere. Only show I remember from living in Germany other than US shows and anime was Artix I think it was called?
