Well then you have fun with your frigates in lowsec and I'll keep shooting these deadpace/oficer fit faction battleships while other players pay me money to do it.

Hey man, if you can't handle it that's cool. I know that you lowsec dudes don't really have the attention span, intellectual capability or sheer rugged manliness needed to be successful at the extremely intellectually and emotionally demanding pursuit that is highsec PVP.

"durr i undock in frig and shoot frig durr" is probably a better deal for you more limited folks.

You should have said this "Wormholes are the best place for solo/small gang PvP. No Local AND NO CYNO's = smexy

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.

Without a doubt, non-consensual PvP. Eve is pretty much the only game that (for now) has it. Whether you are the killer or the victim, it's the ability to force combat on another player that makes Eve worth playing. Win some, lose some, but it's only because of this unique mechanic that I can't quit this game.

Dueling is for f@gs. It ain't PvP when it's all arranged, with everyone on even footing, and everyone gets a lolipop for participating. Should have left that kiddie crap in WoW where it belongs.

Combined with loss being real in Eve- and it's a perfect sandbox sharktank in New Eden.

Risk is what makes it interesting, and every other MMO, not. Where you go to find pew is a matter of taste, they're all good because Eve's PvP is strong, complex, deep, and difficult. It actually matters in Eve. It's not just a jog back from a graveyard for failure here.

Try faction warfare outposts in low sec. They use acceleration gates which reduce the likelihood of being blobbed. You don't necessarily need to join FW if you don't value your sec status.

Well then you will need them to agress first or very soon you will be a flashy red pilot, and in a frig.. one volley makes a difference to the outcome.

Considering that there's no good reason for anyone to ever be in lowsec if they're not some kind of faction warfare weirdo when we decided to go to a different type of space we went to NPC nullsec because it's exactly the same except with no gate gun or sec status horseshit to prevent you shooting people. Turns out that it's almost exactly the same as highsec.

We even had people complaining about neutral logistics. In nullsec.

I'm just talking empty smack because I find it terribly entertaining how upset some lowsec folks get when you express that you PVP in highsec and like it. The level of elitism some people have about how other people do PVP in this PVP game is absurd. The claim that highsec PVP isn't PVP is especially laughable because it very obviously isn't true and some of the first people to whine about being blown up over and over by one dude in a tornado in jita are low and nullsec alliances that are totally unwilling to fight in highsec under any circumstance.

If you legitimately think it's easy then I sincerly recommend you go and try it. You'll probably find it much more difficult to actually get kills and be effective than you thought and tap out pretty much immediately. It isn't quite the "Sit on jita gate, receive bacon." deal people make it out to be.

Currently -
FW plex fighting on the weekend in a non-station system lodged between two opposing HQ/reship systems ..
Example: Ezzara. When adjacent Vard and Arzad are held by opposing forces.

Else, plex fighting in the hour just before TZ dominance switches, when sides are more or less equal in numbers and blood thirsty.

Old days -
Defensive null roams in the days before a major sov oriented assault (used to have to choke an enemy a bit before slapping him down)

High sec pvp is about as challenging as station camping. Does it require a brain to do well? yes, does it require much skill? No..

Untouchable linky alts, 4 bill pods, 2-3 logistic alts for each "main".

I don't mind high sec "pvp" as long as people admit that its about the grief and the feeling of power and not the fights.

I'll also admit that playing station games or waiting out mission runners requires a LOT more patience than i have.

(Also most Low sec alliances CAN'T fight in high sec... )

Low sec, small gang pvp for me.

Tried high sec pvp, too many station games. I had a couple of memorable fights in high sec, namely 1 moment where we had been decced in an old corp I was in and we travelled 25 jump across empire space to get to a guy who had JC'd to his mission Nighthawk.

Not really done Null sec so can't comment.

I've stayed in low sec now for ages, started as a pirate and moved to FW. Best move I've made in EVE and probably kept me playing it. Reasons are many, mostly because of the community and the readily available PVP.

Faction Warefare is best PVP because...
a) usually small scale
b) sometimes being small is better than being large
c) everyone who is a valid target also agreed to be a target (since he joined FW) [So no need to **** high-sec noobs]

low sec/null sec small scale .... best fight includes warp ins and outs fighting bigger targets and lot of tactics .... lot of adrenaline.
