W-Space and the static wormhole

Hello,

many W-Spaces have a static wormhole (e.g. U210). If the static wormhole collapse, another will respawn somewhere in the system.

From when the K162-wormhole on the target system is there?

Possible answer (to my knowledge was)

  1. the static wormhole is spawned
  2. the static wormhole is probed
  3. warping to the static wormhole (e.g. U210)
  4. jumping through the wormhole

Thank you, Bomber

C. Warping to the static.

This isn't 100% provable but there is convincing evidence for it through the use of before-and-after DT k162 sig IDs.

It is visible on the other side as soon as you initiate warp to it, actually landing on the grid doesn't mean a thing.

the same as an anomoly.

Any signature in the game actually spawns into the system when the first person initiates warp to it.

I think this should be changed for wormholes because it allows people to close off all connections to the wormhole they are in and basically not play an MMO.

So if I stay in the wormhole and I don't initiate a warp to my new static the only way for others to find me it will be if only their static connects into my wormhole?

What about my K-Space static? I think some wormholes will spawn there randomly that will still connect to my wormhole right?

Wouldn't change much. People would just spend a few minutes making their static critical.

That's no sentence. That's a space station.

as opposed to the few "W-spaces" that must not have a static.....

There are wandering wormholes that can connect to you randomly at any point both incoming and outgoing as well as other people's statics opening to you, so your far from safe just collapsing your static and not opening the new one but the risk is much more controllable that way. (Obviously same rules apply with outgoing wormholes the k162 side won't spawn til you initiate warp to it but theres no way to know for sure which way around it is until you've warped to it).
