I'd like to start training for Supercarrier and i don't want to waste skillpoints on unnecessary skills.

Can some skilled Supercarrier pilot provide advice as to which skills i need to train from beginning to the end to be able to fly this ship effectively?

Which skills are a must to V, which can be trained to IV?

I know it's a long journey, but time is not limit.

best advice would be to train nyx or aeon instead.

Well I'd suggest training Science 5 and Salvaging 5 for T2 tractor beams and salvagers. You already have more than enough DPS for level 4's with the ship, so you can use the salvagers and tractors to make some extra isk while you shoot the NPCs.

Wait... last I checked training for the Hel was basically one big, long exercise in acquiring wasted skills?

Dont start - just forget Minmatar have caps - they are the joke of eve lore! As noted, aim for Gallente or Amaar - both have decent lines, Gallente the super of choice, Amarr the carrier of choice - both Armour - the doctrine of choice.

Train huge brass balls to IV, you need them to fly a Hel. Getting it to V would be optimal, if you want to fly a rag

You will need around 30m SP before it's useful (i.e. with all the required skills present) and that will take nearly 2 years.

I am literally finishing up on mine now, totally not worth it. Just buy one from the bazaar.

Download eve mon. Then go down the list reading every skill. Anything that even remotely affects the super in any way. Plan to lvl 5. Then go through all the fittings that you will require for your cuperarrier and train them to 5. Including rigs, navigation, engineering.

In the end you will probably end up with around 50m sp. After this its a quick train into other races. It also will take around 680 days upwards or somthing like that.

With the summer changes, BS 5 won't be a requirement any longer, so training for the other races will be even quicker.

For non-ship related skills, you will want to add Cybernetics 5 for a Slave set, and Biology & Nanite Control for boosters.
