With the weapons jammer it lowers your weapon range, you will need to get closer to hit them. On your overview you can match the icon and see which ships are jamming your weapons systems.

As far as the market, once you start making money you will see it is pretty well balanced.
Things are absolutely expensive for a new player, but once you start doing harder missions, getting more rewards and exploring other aspects of eve such as trading, exploration, etc, you can find that the amount of money you can make in a month or two from now is staggering compared to your current expectations for income.

Best advice I can give is keep reading, keep training, and experiment :)

Sensor dampening is NOT jamming.

So getting closer will do **** all when jammed.

Yes I misread. However he is most likely getting dampened if he is doing Lvl 1 missions

He is doing the SoE epic arc. Which also involves going to Caldari spac with Guristas rats which JAM.

Each NPC rat type has its own single E-war they do, for guristas its jamming and thus its possible to be jammed while doing the SoE.

If you are going to make assumptions.....he COULD as wel be tracking disrupted. Bit from actually reading his post you would havesotted all the signs that say ECM jamming.

Assumptions are the mother of all ****-ups.

Well in my defense, I myself am still new :P

Also worth noting: If enemies are in your drone control range and you have drones set to aggressive and focus fire, your drones don't care whether you're jammed or not.

Another reason why drones, like FoF missiles, are a good fall-back weapon system even if they're not fully trained.

Good point.

Only want to update after the recent name change:

FoF = Auto targeting missiles.

Other then that, solid advice.
