To be clear, the 500k number includes both our TQ and Serenity (Chinese) servers, but only includes subscribing EVE Online accounts, not Dust accounts.

How many of the 500k are TQ?

I'm not going to provide any numbers about Serenity without specific approval from the people above me, sorry.

I call BS. Sorry.

Peak login is at what, 55-60k on TQ?

500K subs?

Yes it includes China but damn.

You can probably run a ballpark figure for TQ, based on the PCU avg of TQ vs Serenity (since those 500K reflects the numbers that are currently subscribed).
It should correlate closely to the actual per server split which CCP isn't disclosing atm.

Not sure how many subs are in China, but lets assume all these numbers are on the same server. So there are 500K accounts and ~50K players online every day. This means each of us would have around 10 account. Man... this is serious boting :|

Your figure assumes that everyone spends all day every day logged in on one account.

If the average eve player spends 25 hours per week logged in, then 500,000*(25/168) = 74404 online. If Serenity as half the number of players that TQ does, then that comes to a 50,000/25,000 split.

You know how innumerate and illogical EVE players are; you can just tell us how many are on TQ and the rest will still be shrouded in secrecy.

PS Are there legal constraints on telling us the Serenity numbers or is it just ~Policy~

I wont waste my time explaining why that's an illogical argument.

Let's just wait for CCP to release the figures...which they won't do.

I'd also like to know the percentage of those accounts that are alts. Should be easy as I recall they do ask for our address when we sign up.

Not so fast. Is that second account my alt? Or is it my daughter's account?

CCP Fozzie can't run 500,000 concurrent connections, even with multi-casting software. Most of his alts are going to be offline.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

Yes? And? It's about the same PCUs we had the last time TQ sat at 400k+ subscribers. So where's the BS?

Good. Wasting time on trying to explain why black is white just makes you look silly. But then, so does posting things that look like rebuttals when they're actually not.

What figures are you talking about? The PCUs? We have them already. The subscription numbers? We have those too, fresh of the presses. Historical figures? Have them… and without much reason to assume that the subscriber behaviour has changed in the meantime, we have all we need.

What is it you're after, really?
