Had a good night last night. Started out with us going to mess with some ice miners in their pos which escalated into RE-AL dropping caps on us. We lost an archon and some battle ships in the initial fight (battle report). WE had called some friends, but by the time they organzied the fight was over. RE-AL then sat in side the POS and would not come out to play once we reshipped, so we ref'ed the tower.

We really wanted to get them to come engage us, so we went to their home system and started hitting their POS there. At the time there was a Thanny and a Nid in the shields, but would not engage. Their BS fleet was still a few systems out. After incapping a few of the POS mods, we decided to call it quits and go do something else. In the next system, we run into their BS support fleet and engage. Cyno goes up and they re-drop their caps. We then light our cyno and drop ours where we wipe the field of all their caps with the loss of one of our BS's.

Battle Report of 2nd fight

We had a chance at their Aeon, but he got out.

Another great Sunday with us. If you are looking for some great fights, please contact us and join in game channel GUT-U.

Some of the most fun I've had in this game is with this corp. Its a game with lots of pixels and pretty explosions but its still just a game, and its nice when you can play with an awesome group of guys like we have. The thing I really enjoy is the wide range of pvp we do. Obviously smashing big expensive things like the post above is fun as hell and there's plenty more to come. But I really like that everyone is eager to pew pew so there's still plenty of impromptu small 2-6 man roams and gate camps....which for me is more fun then spinning in station. Frigs to caps...you name it, we'll fly em, and shoot em.

Another night, another fight.

Kitchen sink camps are a great way to pass the time while waiting for folks to login. You get a few kills, and more often than not the big, bright orange blip on the map means someone is going to bring a fight your way.

That was pretty much the situation last night, we were running a camp in order to lock down the system while the corp managed a few logistical transitions. It was fairly quiet until a bit later when our scout piped up on comms, "Fourteen man ahac gang sighted, might be coming your way." Well this particular gang had eyes on us, so the chance was good that they were getting their balls up to come fight.

Most nights we'd have one and attempted to intercept them to gurantee a fight, but as we were pretty much stuck in place we just had to cross our fingers and hope. Short time later and our scout got eyes on their scout; they were coming up the pipe, time to reship! We decided that rail nagas with ewar support would be a good way to play things out so we hauled ass back home and reshipped. Back in system and on gate, suddenly we had a gate fire, "Ishtar jumping in!"

Really? Ishtar scout, best scout? Whatever, we burned him down and podded him just as his gang landed at zero on the other side of the gate. Then the fight started. They had pretty strong reps going so they lasted for a while, long enough to pop our bubble. It was only a Tech 1 Large, so no loss. With the bubble down and us still exchanging fire, we trade losing a tackle condor for killing a guardian (my kind of trade!).

Obviously they needed a bit of a strategy change. We're sitting comfortably ~50km off when they align up and warp to a safe ~300km off gate. Smart move. Our FC figures that they're going to try and get a warpin and calls the align, when they finally decided to warp down to us most of us get away (except for the lone blackbird, but really... it's a blackbird!).

We get out and then head back to the gate, they've jumped out but thankfully reapproach on the other side. We get back in position just as they're jumping back in. Same story, we get webs and a point on a guardian and it dies in a fire, so their rep cchain decimated we start taking more of a toll on the zealots. A few of them pop, and their FC sounds the retreat to the low sec next door. We gave them a half hearted chase, a gf in local, then most of us call it a night.

We like our fights, and like good fights even more. If you are a small gang pvper, or would like to be, come give us a shout in our open channel. EU guys, looking at you!

Naga please...

Chillin in low sec with nothing to shoot Wednesday night, we send out the scouts to find dinner. Soon after, our intel channel lights up. 42 pilots in 8yc. Time to mobilize.

We set out through GW to feed our hungry gang. N-D is the first location with 20+ in system, so a good place to start. The scout spots 10-12 bombers (not shocking for the area). One jump out, we spot some greedy carebears in an 8/10 plex. Probes go out to find them. Probes aren't helping (warping safes) and we're impatient. Then, the smack starts flying. As we sit on our exit, the plexers change our mind about a little pve. Thanks for the loot guys. Immediately following, forward scouts spot 3 different gangs opeating in the 8yc area. Desto updated.

One jump out from desto, the NC. scout gets eyes on us. Care to dance? The gate flashes and here comes NC/Nulli Talos and Tornado gang with some logi and tackle sprinkled in there. Do you even lift?!?!?

http://www.gut-u.com/killboard/?a=kill_related&kll_id=2190

Thanks go out to the NC bubbler, who bubbled his gang and helped our arazu pilot. Loot the field...roam success. It's getting late, so we turn around to head home.

The fail bomber gang finally find the courage to shoot at us. Missed the bombers, but got their bubbler.

http://www.gut-u.com/killboard/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=2193

One jump from low/null connection system, our rear scout spots the slighty smaller NC/Nulli gang. It appears they are heading to the same exit as we are. We set the trap. Little did they know, a few our guys were camping that connection system earlier in the night. Good thing, too. Their large bubble was still on gate.

Now listen, we don't like making blues because if I set your standings to blue then I can't shoot your stuff and laugh at your tears. Makes sense, right? Even so, every once in a while banding together lets you kick some ass seriously above your weight class.

We went in to the other night without really knowing what was going to happen, all that we'd seen was a cryptic post on our corp forums about an OP. Could have been anything, but you'd better believe I went into the fleet hoping to blap some caps! In fleet, we started to travel several systems over, our FC informed us that we were going to be working with several local entities that we're neutral too. Ok, we can play nice when we need to and I know our leadership wasn't going to steer us wrong.

The fleet was much larger than those we normally run, as we're primarily a small-gang pvp corporation but that doesn't mean that we haven't been there and done that. Most of us are veterans of any number of null sec power blocs and will happily (Ugh) talk about 600+ man drake fleets spinning in circles and exchanging missile fire in various parts of known space. Back to the story though, not going to bore you with a rant about how ****** giant battles were before TiDi (that's for another day).

Once we were situated next door to the target they finally let us grunts know what the real plan was; apparently PL was jackin' about and getting ready to drop a small POS some of our fleet mates had. Intel suggested that PL was planning on just dropping dreads, sieging, and blapping. Sound plan, and we wanted to throw a damned wrench into it. Hanging out, suddenly we get the word that the caps are on the field and getting ready to hit the tower.

Cool, go time! We hauled ass next door, Tempests warping to 0 and working on capping out the caps and Nagas warping at range to bring the pain. Landing on grid, a Nag is called primary. Everyone aligns, locks and starts firing and gets that warm feeling when you just KNOW you're ruining someones night. Slowly but surely the shields drop, then armor and finally a BOOM and he was done. One of our more sneaky fleet mates snaked the loot (faction, of course) and we start working on the second target.

Second cyno goes up.... Oh ****. On a carrier? Yeah, about that.... Slowcats start popping into existence... Way, way too many of 'em. Sentries drop and all of a sudden we're starting to feel the heat. A naga goes down, crap, a new align is callled. Suddenly the Rev we'd been working on starts getting reps from the over 9000 Archons on the field. Unlucky for us, apparently he hadn't managed to siege and was still able to be repped. Our DPS just isn't quite enough to break the tank on the field, so we retire back next door and dock up. We waited for a while, hoping the enemy fleet would make a mistake and leave a cap on the field but true to their reputation PL pulls out without an issue. We return to the system, ref the pos they dropped and call it a night.

Now, I know this isn't the same as a massive cap battle where everyone dies but you know what? At the end of the night, getting into a fleet, gettin to chat with guys you're going to be shooting at tomorrow and bringing home a ~3bn isk cap kill in exchange for a negligible amount of sub caps is a pretty good time.

Come join in on the good times, there's no end in sight and we're always looking for more guys to come out!

Check out our KB and don't hesitate to drop by our open channel

Another day another solid fight...

Last night EvE Uni decided to roll into our home system with a kitchen sink fleet gang of about 40. They were fielding a range of frigates to battlecruisers with logi. After some decision of what we wanted to field, we jumped into nano-cruisers and battlecruisers mainly outfitted to kill their tackle.

They were split in null-sec on each side of a gate. We warped in at range and started playing chicken with them. They began to send their interceptors and fast tackle out for us which we were able to kill without getting tackled with our anti-tackle nano ships. After killing a good amount of their tackle we decided to burn into the gate to get them to come off gate and play again. This continued for awhile constantly crashing in and out of the gate to force a fight allowing us to pick off about 10 people with only the loss of a destroyer, the first battle report: http://www.gut-u.com/killboard/?a=kill_related&kll_id=3434&battle=1.

After awhile of trying to tackle us down they decided to jump out to the rest of their gang where they camped for a bit. We couldn't jump into them with fear of getting hard tackled so we held orbiting the gate at a decent range. Our scout called that they were warping off so we crashed the gate hoping to pick off any stragglers. A exqueror got caught on gate but got out before we could burn through and tackle. We set chase and came up behind them after they setup camp on another gate. We warped off their gang camping a gate at 100 and tried to get something going again. They warped off before anything could be tackled to 100 off a gate trying to catch us if we follow. Our scout saw this and we warped into 20 instead, allowing for us to avoid tackle and burn up to try and get some points. Because of the size of their gang we kept our range and again focused on the tackle. After killing a few more of their tackle ships they warped off and we gave chase again.

Ended up scanning them down to a ping off a belt where we warped in approximately 30 off and started to begin fighting. By now our boosts were in position allowing us to keep our range but still keep them committed with long point range and speed. Also, we had a friendly fleet coming to meet up with us for an op later that night. They were a few jumps off and we called them to head over once the fight started to really begin. I began calling primaries based on what was burning out to us. They had a large number of ECM and thus we couldn't kill that much stuff with their logi as well. One of our vagas got tackled and sadly was taken down along with a cane. However, we began decimating them as our friends jumped in and joined the fight. After breaking through by killing their ECM and logi they started warping off. We killed what we could on field and then fled to what we assumed would be their outgate, allowing us to catch 3 more battlecruiesrs and a logi. Overall it was a great fight considering it started off as a 7v40 where we eventually whelped all of them. Secondary battle report not including the last 4 kllls: http://www.gut-u.com/killboard/?a=kill_related&kll_id=3410&battle=1

We are recruiting, stop by our public channel at GUT-U, or mail me. We are primarily US TZ but really working hard to build a home for EU players. We fly ships from frigates to capitals in small-gang oriented pvp in null and low-sec with a great target-rich environment.

We've been bangin armor as of late with good success. Lots of good fights in the surrounding regions and in our backyard. We've run some joint ops with new and old friends with favorable results. Things are lining up for another good month after the first two days of the month (LOL).

I logged on last night to intel channels blowing up about 4 PL supers being tackled on a POS in Great Wildlands. I'm thinking to myself it's a trap. 20 min later we're fleeted up in NagaNados and rolling that direction. It took longer than we like to get our gang together, but it was early in the night and people were just logging on. A couple quick convos and friends and enemies alike are en route as well. No way will this go the way we wall want, but I figure it's worth a shot.

Of course, it doesn't work out as 30 slowcats arrive a few moments later. It ended as expected. Hooray for blue balls.

We reship to AHACs and go looking to pick a fight. Luckily as we're burning to help some friends get out of a camped system, a WH gang spots us and gives chase. Looking at their fleet comp, they have more rep and more dps. Why get all dressed up to not go to the dance? Our FC calls for us to jump as they enter system. We anchor up on the other side of the gate and wait for them to jump into us. 3 Basis, some slepnirs, tengu, astarte and random stuff. The fight commences and surprisingly our pro guardians (only 2) are keeping us alive to all that dps. No one is breaking. Bad news for them 3 of our buddies are a couple jumps away and come give assistance. Thanks to HASH guys that came to lend DPS to turn the tide in this stalemate.

www.gut-u.com

I would link the kills, but this forum doesn't like it when I do that. Slepnir and Cyclone down. We lost our SFI. Nice engagement. I would have liked a few more kills, but you can't always have your cake and eat it too...
