He didn't steal your isk,

you have paid him to teach you a valuable lesson.

You will not do it again when you have 10's of billions.

Its so funny how everything he said about me taking his crap is a lie. I saw his sob story in the ships channel and offered him a spot in my corp and a free battleship for missions. And now i find this opost? I should have done my research. And for all you people who dont believe me https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=209502&find=unread .

People really aren't learning are they? I thought the double your money scam was a bit fail and wouldn't last a month, let alone actually get people to send money...

I'm more honest than your little dodgy friend. Send me your remaining ISK and I'll triple it to help make up for your loss.

Hello everyone, I'm posting this to warn all of you against the sad Beta Bank. I met him in a chat room, told him I had lost everything I owned recently (a retriever) after working very hard for it, and since he kept on boasting about his ISK pile I asked if I maybe could have spare change for a restart. He did not want to give it to me, which is fine of course he is not obliged to it.

Later however he told me he felt sad about my loss, and said that whatever I had left ; he would double it. I would not have done this if he was alone in the chat, scammers are everywhere I know. But alot of people in the chat supported him, saying he was rich and trustworthy, so I felt he was. He however, was not. He stole everything I had left, everything, and to top it off he had put this bounty on me. Not only did he stole everything I had left, he also made my career impossible due to this bounty.

I hope you people will never trust this person who calls himself Beta Bank or his friends anymore, they're all very sad, and push me forward to quit this game. Ugh

Ps ; It wasn't his chat, it was the "blueprints" chat.

/rage off.

Gosh darn it I know there's a lesson to be learned from this somewhere.... Maybe some colorful cartoon ponies can explain to us what we learned today....

Joran I never said I was good or something so it's pretty obvious this thread makes me look bad, don't think I dont know. I'm just warning the community here. And as for the first rule of EVE, well, I did not break it since I did not went into any dangerous zones, except for Jita being full of scammers maybe.

And like I said I only trusted him because nearly the whole chat supported him.. I know there are lots of scammers, but didn't know this many random players would join together to punish a noob.

And about the corp part lol, you made me laugh. P

let me get this straight... you are warning the community here.. in the C&P thread? Dude you are not warning the majority of the posters here. They are the ones doing the scams, ganking the ships and other even loftier things - like joining a corp and eating it from the inside. Mostly you are just letting them know that PT Barnum was right and a sucker joins EVE every minute. sorry. Learn your lesson, thank the guy who ripped you off and move on. my opinion.

Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

Whut?

I've known since the launch of AOL not to trust strange men in chat rooms that offer me free money. Being nearly 20 years later, it should be common knowledge by now.

It appears that AOL wasn't accessible for some. Perhaps it was too sophisticated.

So... um... yeah!

I feel really bad for you. I hate it when people take advantage of others. When you have at least 50 million, you can recover your losses and then some. Unlike that other person, I am highly regarded in the business of isk doubling.

Fly Safe

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.
