Rep from Epic Arcs tank opposing Rep?

Do the reputation gains from epic arcs tank your rep with the opposing factions? E.g. will completing the Minmatar epic arc damage my Amarr rep (or vice versa)?

Yes, the only arc that doesn't is the SoE arc. Its not terribly damaging but you will lose standing.

Now with 100% less Troll.

Yes, the only arc that doesn't is the SoE arc. Its not terribly damaging but you will lose standing.



If you do all four, will you have a net increase across the board? It seems like it would (at least with the hi-sec factions).

Also is there any way to get 8.0+ standings with all non-pirate factions?

Net loss..

8.0 with all yes. but i would take decades of running the SoE arc

Mission improve standing with corps, storylines missions improve standings with factions, but you take penalties for opposing factions.

sorry. misread "all ... factions" part.

and (IMO) still yes:
- you get more + than - for every storyline
- working for CONCORD you get + standings for every non-pirate faction

I can be wrong for sure.
