How about instead of cheapening the entire Eve experience with soulless "Free2Play" features, like an ugly neon spoiler on an elegant italian sportscar, ship skins are instead implemented into the framework of the actual game?

You know, have them use PI goods or something, have manufacturers make them, add another isk sink that's sorely needed, etc.

everything in EVE can be bought directly or indirectly through RL money or ISK. Don't wanna use RL money for it? Use isk to buy PLEX then use PLEX to buy Aurum. Don't wanna use ISK, buy PLEX then use to buy Aurum.

Don't see any reason whatsoever to not implement this. Probably not to the extent of painting purple unicorns on the side, but being able to change colours on the current skin would be great. Corp logos/colour-schemes would be cool imo.
