I can't sleep at night

Because once the sun goes down, the universe starts to burn through my curtains, setting my bed on fire.
I think CCP did a great job capturing the shiny, bright and colorful nature of the universe, where every system is lit up like a shopping mall before christmas.

Now, I know many players would NOT be happy with a realistic, dark, black/grey/white (stars aside) universe. But at least give people like me an option to maybe make it a bit darker, so we don't need shades when we turn our cameras towards somehow radiant dust nebulas on the skybox.

So what you are really looking for is, somehow to make CCP to construct a night light for you so you sleep better when passing through jump gates in your sleep?

Absolutly! I'm sure every part of this rather larger universe is as dark as our little corner of the Milky Way.

Go outside, above 3500m on an icy, dry, crystal clear night at new moon and then come back here and tell us again how dark our galaxy is.

If you have serious issues, like I had in Amarr space with the colours after the changes to the new nebulas, some slight screen adjustments fixed that without having any impact on other applications.

It is not the universe, it is your girl friend who sets your bed on fire. Go back to bed and be the man. Stop pussying out.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

Does OP understand that it's only dark because of our atmosphere...? There isn't some kind of galatic lightswitch, suns don't just instantly turn off (takes about a day, and you'll see it when it happens). The universe is a bright place.

If you don't like EVE's brightness, save up for a computer that doesn't run on potatoes and turn on the "sun occluded by objects" in graphics.

Give a man a match and you warm him for a day.

Set a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life!

I can't sleep unless I have a fan blowing next to me. This really annoys my wife in the middle of winter.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

New Eden is a Star Cluster... as such it has GAS CLOUDS. These clouds are what cause the coloration and refraction of light.
