Hello!

Has it ever been talked about adding pre-made skins by CCP and sell them like they do with your items in the store! hoping we could get some cool skins we can threw on our internet ship space!

Just to play the Devil's Advocate,

Yes, it's been talked about before. I think it'd be fun. Some players have more ISK than they really need, and I'm sure there'd be plenty of incursion runners who wouldn't mind spending some PLEX on cool looking paint jobs. I mean, when you're in a fleet with a dozen other Machariels, wouldn't it be fun to have a unique looking one? What better way to say "Hey guys, look how poor you are compared to me! I'm rich and sophisticated, peasant."

I wouldn't mind paying extra ISK for Corp custom paint jobs. Nothing fancy, just pre-built colour palettes and layers, similar to the Corp logo builder, with a block on colour schemes that match Special edition ship colours. Maybe a reasonably large initial cost and then an addition small cost for the paint job in a station repair bay?

I have deliberately developed an air of cynicism that I originally intended to make me appear somewhat louche and caddish but actually comes across as irritable hostility combined with the unspoken threat of sudden violence.....

At this point in the game, saving up iskes and turning it in to new income to buy the no extra dipping :))

I don't think custom skin is a good idea, ehe only customization I'd like to have is to replace the current faction logo with corp/alliance (or others)

How would it dictate anything in game if it's only a damn skin? All the value used in game would be the same. Whats wrong with wanting my ship to have 2 red stripes on it?

Red stripes make everything faster.

How can more options ever be a bad idea? Has anyone ever looked at something and said "There's too much for everyone to choose from. I wish there was less to choose from"?


Never heard that at the Ben and Jerry counter.



I like this idea. The only issues I see is laggy sectors and battles where the skins inadvertently will load on a delay or not at all.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.
