Banned: Do my skills continue training?

Is it a different case than letting your sub run out? Technically you're still paying for the game, just denied access.


13 days left on Tactical Weapons Reconfig 5.

Also, for those wondering, got banned for linking lemon party in corp chat under the shroud of a "CCP present for Christmas, the CONCORD Damage Control TA-13"

As far as I know, yes they keep training.

The first thing you should do after the ban runs out is switching corps. (read: your corp are ****** bluefuckers)

And you'll continue training while being banned.

I've been checking my API for the last 5 days, it appears skills are training as they are supposed to :)

Char is still appearing to be training. Though still no valuable petition responses on duration with already half the sentence served.

Also, I believe it was a corp thief that had a few hours left on his stasis that got me. Oh well.

Can the API be trusted in this regard?

Also, I don't understand how one can gets banned for posting a link in corp chat. What EULA section is that a violation of?

The API is not cached, I've deleted it many times are reupdated and the skillpoints keep getting higher... so I assume that means it's training.

Also, you can get banned for posting offensive content anywhere, apparently. Corp chat is not an optional channel while being in corp, that must have counted for something.

having had a 1 week ban my self due to disrespecting a favourite ex goon of ccp's ( wont go into deep details )

I found that it works exactly the same was as if your account goes dormant..

72 hours of skilling only from exact time of ban..

i was banned for a week with a 1 month queue and when i logged back in it had 3 weeks left.
Also in regards to what youre saying, I left an account inactive for a month with a month queue and when i reactivated it, the skill had 1 day left. Same as if it were active.

When was that? I massively exploited so-called "dark training" back when it was possible, polishing off four different high-Rank skillz to level 4 in four non-subsequent months of being unsubscribed. But CCP changed the mechanics, and removed ghost training. I think they did it in 2009, or maybe 2008. Probably spring 2009, same time we got the skill queue.

Im fairly sure its still the same. One of those gimmics for when if you unsub you can come back and your queue is finished. More returning players, more money. Also this wasnt but a year ago.

yeah nah. I don't believe you. had a corpmate get banned for a wkke due to posting the fish butt pic in local.

he came back to skills not finished.
