This is the strangest thing I've seen on the Eve killboards recently.

http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&kll_id=16483081

If you will notice the Megathron was Concorded but Cira Belt was able to kill POS mods and ships. Then apparently that character was biomassed after the event took place since they are in doomheim now.

Then there is this kill

http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=16478082

How exactly does an Orca with a pilot who is not under the threshold of security status draw the attention of the Caldari Police Force?

The corp, namely cira, just has a very odd kill history and I'm wondering what general discussion makes of it. Because I have no idea what's going on here.

The first one isn't that laughable if you consider the losing side was not all present at the same time. This could've simply been a camp at a gate over a period of time -- or -- I've had fights where the enemy is disorganized to the point that they keep warping in reinforcements as others die, possibly only 3 or 4 on the field at a time. Eve-Kill doesn't distinguish how long the fight went on. They're just related kills, not neccessarily a single battle.

The second one is very easy. The orca pilot had contraband on board, likely not realizing it, for whatever reason ignores the pop-up warning, and the vexor just joins in to get onto the killmail.

It does look strange. If you look at Cira for Feb. 2013, kills.

I can understand the argument that people reship and come back to the fight but really, in a gift ship that is unfitted? Navy Domi unfitted, Orca unfitted, etc.

And why would Cira biomass a Proteus pilot?

I'm sure there is a story here but I've no idea what it is just looking at eve-kill.

Well, there are other possible explanations...such as a POS with ejected/floating ships.

Also, positive sec status =/= positive standings, could have been that orca pilot ran too many gallente/whatever missions.

The bio-massing I can't explain, but I'm not convinced there's more to this than paranoia.

People kill things, sometimes in creative ways...

POS gets blown up, floating ships are subsequently blown up.

Though, if it were me, I'd be boarding said ships and running off with them.
