Corp is moving into a C4 with a static C2. Looking for a gallente boat that's capable of doing C2 sites with ease. Any suggestions? Myrm/Brutix? Should I go BS?

Maybe Dom sentry boat?

Go BC, period. Your mass limitations and ISK investment makes up for it.

As to Gallente boats per se, I would not know from personal experience though the new rail Ferox (gasps and all) is interestingly alright at it. Honestly, pick your favorite BC, fit it for range, and give it a try. If you guys live in a C4 you can cover the costs of a few mistakes easily.

Your going to really grow to hate the C2 static if you want to PVE. For the most part every static will be occupied and connected to much larger chains. C2 sites are so low on the isk/hour scale that running C1's is of more value.

TL;DR C2's are horrible for PVE.

Pretty much this.

C2's are largely populated. This makes them harder/more dangerous to farm.
C2's, like C1's depend heavily on nanoribbon drops for their value. Ribbon drops are random, and the raondomness is the same regardless of ship type. So the relatively higher number of smaller ships in a C1 seems to cause them to drop more ribbons than C2's
