Your problem isn't flying a kiting ship. Kiting footage can be really awesome fun to watch, it's just that the fights you've included never really saw you in a lot of danger. Fly what you enjoy most and keep getting out there and collecting footage, if you want to raise the standard of your video though you just need to up the expectation on yourself of what footage you put in. That might mean it will take a really long time to release something, but that's how it goes sometimes.

Try to think of a fight as a story, if the outcome of the fight is exactly what we expect when it first starts and it gets to the conclusion in a really straight-forward way, it's going to lack interest. If at the start of the fight we are thinking "No way he's going to beat these ships!" and then you do, or we think you have a decent chance of winning it but the fight takes a few twists and turns along the way and for a while it looks like maybe you'll actually lose it but then you come out on top, that's going to make for engaging and exciting footage.

Let footage sit for a few weeks without watching it and then when you come back to review it and decide whether its going to make it into your vid, put yourself in the viewers head. Imagine that you are watching this as someone who was not involved in the emotion of the fight and try to think about these things ("how would I expect this matchup of ships to go?" "does this fight defy those expectations?" "is there drama and change during the fight?" etc).

With all that said, it was really cool to see someone making use of the camera tracking function in a video and your music and editing was very clean and polished and made the video easily digestable. Also +1 for flying a rarely seen ship with a unique fit. There's a lot of potential in this video, you just need to push yourself into more extreme situations and be more picky about what footage you include. Much easier said than done, but very possible.

You may not understand entirely what I'm on about, I personally consider it a gank, that doesn't mean it's not video material nor do I think the video is bad, I just think he could push the setup a bit more to its limits. My response to the nullsec scrub is only that he has no clue and that I find it weird to imply whining cause of link alts.
