DeD 4's- can they still be found in .8, .7 sec space?

Im asking cause I havent run into one since the patch.
prior to patch i was netting 2-5 of these a day.
Perhaps some uber bad luck yesterday?
I also understand the patch screwed somethings up with for a couple of days but yesterday...was so disappointing.

As Caleidascope already stated - Yes.

Since the expansion I've found one of each type of Angel DED Complex (1/10 to 4/10) in high sec. The loot drops haven't been very good though. The rest of this reply is more of an observation and is directed towards CCP Dev's (doubt they'll actually see it anyway).


Minmatar Contracted Bio-Farm:
This 1/10 site I found was the same as I remembered it. It never dropped any Faction loot when it was static and it didn't drop any now. The loot I got was 1st and 2nd Tier Overseers Personal Effects.

CCP needs to add some Faction loot drops to the Angel DED 1/10 site since it's now part of the exploration mechanic. Having no Faction loot drop makes it worthless to run and also a waste of time scanning it down. Obviously older players will bypass this site and new players will get nothing for their trouble.


Angel Creo-Corp Mining:
This 2/10 site I found had the first room completed, no rats or Overseer structure which holds the key to progress further into the complex. Obviously there's still some players doing the old 'Key Grab' tactic to keep other players from running the site. Luckily I had some extra gate keys stashed away from years ago so I was able to complete the site. The loot I got was 4th and 5th Tier Overseers Personal Effects, Gistii B-Type 1mn Microwarpdrive.

CCP needs to have all NPC's and structures within sites re-spawn within a few hrs if not completed to allow other players a chance to complete the site, especially if the site requires a specific gate key to progress further. Either that or make all gate keys available in NPC market orders.


Angel Repurposed Outpost:
This 3/10 site was new for me and a lot of fun to run. It was definitely different. I was glad but thought it was strange that no gate keys were needed to progress through the site. The loot I got was 6th and 7th Tier Overseer's Personal Effects, Gistii A-Type Small Shield Transfer.

Since I've only run this site once I can't really give an opinion other than I'd love to find it and run it some more.


Angel Cartel Occupied Mining Colony:
This 4/10 site is still the same as I remembered it, 2 room complex filled with lot's of rats. The loot I got was 8th Tier Overseers Personal Effects, Gistum C-Type EM Ward Amplifier.

CCP needs to increase the amount of wrecks that drop loot. In the 1st room, only 5 out of 25 wrecks contained loot. In the 2nd room, only 8 to 10 wrecks contained loot. Most of the drops contained 1x Metal Scraps.


In closing:

I think all DED sites should require a gate key to advance further into the complex. These sites are controlled and occupied by Pirate Factions who definitely won't let anyone enter whenever they want. All gate keys should be made available to purchase in NPC market orders, mainly from Concord Faction since they are the one's who buy Overseer's Personal Effects. 1/10 sites need to have Faction loot drops seeded and all sites should re-spawn NPC's and structures within a few hours if not completed.

Since these rich mining operation sites are controlled and occupied by Pirate Factions, the amount of ships containing loot should be increased as well as the contents they drop. Getting 1x Metal Scraps in the majority of wrecks is pointless, not to mention a slap in the face. CCP Soundwave's obsession to nerf 'Gun Mining' in an effort to encourage the use of Mining Ships (Bulls-eye target for gankers) has gotten way out of control, basically making the Noctis obsolete now. Also where's the promised loot drops for Rogue Drones?
