Youve missed the point entirely, If the cyclone was better suited small gang pvp than that is what i would of invested in. Eve has always been about the strategy , thought process, and years required to perfect what ever trade u choose to ply in. When i started playing Eve, ships werent equal and it required a thought process to achieve your goals.

The point is if CCP is going to undo what you spent time and real money doing, they should re'imburse your skill points so have the option to re'invest them i the flavor of the patch

Pathethic ... as i said some people are wrong and some are right. If you fight (be it even cry) on forum for something that should be fixed ( is broken or underpowered) , then you can cry 24/7 and i won't come into topic laughing at you. But when someone complains about things like hurricane being bad when it's obviously not bad ship at all... Whatever i shouldn't care about pest like you.

Lol.. if you think this is crying your pretty slow. No wonder you only have 51 likes to your name. What I say is a simple statement with some humor to it.. you must not be able to read very well. I am also suggesting to CCP not to nerf what is already good, but to buff the other ships instead to make for some epic battles. It is a legit suggestion.

If you are here on the boards to troll and torch people you might want to actually say something that is new with some actual thought behind it.... and grow up a little. I prefer mature or truly funny people to chat with.


Seems like it's contest now who got more likes ? Guess what i don't care. But i actually care about balance. And part of balancing was nerfing BC's so they are not replacing both battleships and cruisers at thier roles.

If CCP would do what you are asking for ... they would butcher their own changes to cruisers. They would once again be left in hangars if BC's would receive buffs instead of nerfs. And would be that good ? I guess no. Atm you can finnaly use both cruisers and battlecruisers . And both are good and useful.



PS . Next time you gonna threat me ingame with wardecing - you better do this as i don't care honestly, nor i'm scared. But bugging me ingame about some post on forum is wtf really.

With a single med neut, youre not gonna cap out any competently fit BC - HAM Drakes, Plated Harby, Repping Myrms or Brutixes, Neut or HAM Proph or even a HAM Cyclone with XL-ASB. Whom can an Armor Cane reliably break?

With a single med neut, you can no longer 1 v/s X Cruisers, which most current Brawl BCs will easily manage. Any 2 of Mallers, Moa, Thorax, MedBlaster Vexors, Ruptures, competently brawl fit will tear the current Cane a new one.

Stop looking at the Cane in isolation. Relatively, to other BCs, its fraked.

- Cant brawl, period.
- Cant kite AS WELL AS the other BCs: Sure, its faster, with inferior gank and tank AND projection, grats you can run away
- Sure, Arty Fits enjoy their 3-4k Alpha niche, that's about it
- Damage selection makes the dps even lower

So what you gonna use your armor cane for? Frig killing? Might as well stick with the SFI, does it way better.

Stick on a 2% engineering implant and you can use 220's, which I should point out do 95.2% the dps of 425mm's.

Varying opinions on this one of course. Quite a lot of good points made too, and I appreciate the time and effort some people made to really go into detail about the different BC's, unlike someone who got their panties in a twist and decided to flame and troll over a simple little post which was more of a humorous goodbye to my beloved cane as I knew it - with a "Princess Bride" reference. Funny how angry people can take such a simple thing and twist it into something it's not.

Too bad because you had some good points to make, but who wants to hear someone who has a good point when they surround it with arrogant trolling. If you want anyone to take you seriously in your posts you might want to drop the attitude and actually speak to them differently.

I agree, I stopped playing for a bit and came back to find one of my favorite ships useless as a cheap fun boat. now its expensive excessively slow and under powered. They keep making the Min ships worse instead of improving others. The Loki is the only saving grace at the moment, hands off dev's! Unless you plan to make it not so rusty and give a cool black finish. (my 2 cents)

The hurricane isn't balanced.

CCP is hell bent on punishing winmatar for being so win before.

Rifter, the "best frig" is now trash.
Rupture, the "best cruiser" is now meh.
Hurricane, the "best BC" is now meh.

See a pattern?

See, you must have max engineering/powergrid skills. To do this fit, I need all 3 MACR I rig slots. The Medium Energy neut II seems like a waste now since you can't fit 2. Granted, I haven't jumped on my cane since a few days after retribution rolled out. I have been training a lot of skills to help with this during my break. I'll jump on EFT with my new skills to see what I can fit. If you don't have the neut fitted, Would it be possible to fit 425mm IIs?
