Nope, doesnt work anymore. The respawns are random now.

You can chain the size of ship but not the actual ships.
So you can have all belts spawning BS but not a specific high bounty BS.

(this is what I have heard from Provi blues, not 100% sure myself)

I tried to find a good source for my claim that the belt spawns are random now. But this was the only one i could find:

From the Crucible 1.5 Patchnotes.

I don't see how you could have that experience, do you understand the op's question?

Earlier you could, as an example, kill off only the 3x1.85mil bs and leave the frigs/cruisers. After a while (less than full respawn) the bs would respawn and you could do this forever.

Trying this out in one asteorid belt should clearly show that's not how it works now.

Well, I was still getting the same Archbishop, Prophet and Oracle spawns in low-sec

Ofc, I had a number of BS chains going in the same system (high number of belts), so its more than likely it only appeared the same, but were actually different
