I had the same problem... closed launcher, force closed exefile.exe (ccp file) and the updater worked, and the game launched

Just right click on the eve icon and select run as admin on windows machines.

Nope, even after forcing it to quit I still get the same error talking about directories with processes running. Guess I'll just not play eve fora while lol.

getting the same as some of these its showing server is offline but I can still log in and play .when I try to load 2nd char I get there is no connection error......Twisted

im getting the problem where my client is validateing thro 1/4 very slowly and my computers cpu and memory is just fine. Shocked

getting the same today where it says Tranquility server: Offline 0Players but I can still connect and play can some one confirm there is a bug or problem?

Just got a Launcher Update.

Afterwards, the Launcher has a Title Bar but the Launcher is completely blank white, and I can do nothing.

Tried it all, Cant connect.

Tells me to check internet but that is obviously not the problem.

Also, after the blank Launcher comes up, Firefox opens up to the Open DNS website with this in the search bar:


none/en?steam_token=&server=tranquility

Okay, go to the file location for Eve. There should be a repair button, click it and let it do it's thing (takes maybe 1 minute 30 secs)

After I did that it worked, I still got the white box that said internet was down, just clicked launch game and it worked.

You are seeing this because no connection could be made to the content server or something went wrong while loading the online content.

Restart Launcher

Tranquility server: Status unknown
