Did you even read? It wasn't just positive from CCP, but a lot of the community aware of it wants it as well. The reactions to the "We are shelving it" thread should be clear where players, the customers, stand. Some bittervets and trolls aside, a lot of people seem to want this exploration type stuff as well as future possibilities.


especially as it would be more options in a sandbox...how can someone be against it ? that's what makes eve the best :) just cuz someone has never done incursions (like myself ^^) doesn't mean it's not awesome that they are ingame...a lot seem to enjoy them. same goes for that WiS exploration stuff...that would be an awesome addition no matter how bitter on avatar stuff one can be.

the more options eve gets the better and i think ppl need to step down from the whahaha ships only attitude a bit also. i bet ccp learned that we are not there to be melked for nonsense and want gameplay 1st :P

I love undocking from time to time and dock at station named "My Favorite Bar" with friends.

I'm a diplomat. Sometimes i throw 425mm wide briefcases at enemy. Such is EVE.

WiS has been prototyped and CCP is largely happy with what they've got; it's been shelved (for the time being) because they don't currently have the time or resources to roll it out.

If we don't hear about it by the time the summer release rolls around, then it's a good bet that it won't be 'on the list' for deployment until early next year.

Station exploration was prototyped.

Walking in station/ ambulation aren't station exploration.

The most I ever want to see with this WIS is being able to buy furniture, upgrade cabin to master suite etc... Nothing else,, the game does not need it and the more people talk about it the less I actually want to see it happen.
