I've been using the crimewatch system in highsec to get my PVP on.

Now I'm sooo thankful for the new dueling system... but wait... it's not quite working out very well.

Why? because:

1. I'm already getting tired of sending invitations out to duel .. many many invites because I don't know who is interested or not and I've been getting rejected every time! A girl can only take so much! Blink

2. I'm sure pilots who don't want to pvp aren't going to be really pleased to get invites over and over because I won't remember who I sent invites to. I really don't want to harrass pilots with many invites.

3. It is already frustrating because I have been jumping from system to system and going down the local list. It's a lot of effort for a duel!

I have one simple solution to this.

Please allow those of us who are up for a pvp duel to be flagged in local. Like the safety on our hud can be changed to different colors, allow us to also change our pvp status to some sort of flag. That way I can see quickly in the systems who is up for pvp or not.

Please please please please Attention

I'm not a carebear... I'm a SPACE BARBIE!  Now... where's Ken?

Drop a can in space with written invitation to a duel as a can name. Any interested pilot will challenge you saving the hassle of spamming for you.
Also there is auto reject option for duelling in game options ("audio & chat" tab?) so all those pilots you spammed probably didnt even notice your invitations.

Opinions are like assholes. Everybody got one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks.

Why not ask in local chat rather than spamming every pilot in the system?

Have you tried just asking in local?
I'm not against your idea btw, it could be useful to actually flag yourself as open to PvP in the pilot list.

Hey I hear there's this way where you consent to being involved in combat whether you're prepared for it or not. It's called flying in null-sec or low-sec.

Eh i'm not going to do the typical nullsec thing of "come to null-sec for real pvp" but hey if you want to PVP go to lowsec or something if you are scared of bubbles.

This is a basic feature that should come standard with all dueling systems.

Think about it... asking in local all the time is not as viable as some may think... Total silence is usually what you get.

Frankly i think my idea is just simple and easy for the Dev's to do.

Nope

technically the game is not about duel so in fact when people undock they are up to duel or pvp

Or you can use the sandBox:

Go on the general discusion or crime and punishment create a thread about it

1. Choose a 1.0 system
2. tell everyone It would be the place For duel.
3.Make it Worth it ( give some isk to your opponnent no matter what the result.
4. enjoy the duel system

CCP it's time to remove Off Grid Boost and Put Them on Killmail too, add Logi on killmails .... Open that damn door !!

you shall all bow and pray BoB
