When Jita is Full - Fix Idea! ::: Queue

Hello all.

For the sake of organization to the gameplay mechanics.

When Jita is full up, and you may not enter through the outside gates, theres an issue.

You literally just spam Jump, and pray that it will work.

How about my solution:::

1. Jita is full.

2. You hit Jump.

3. If full, you are entered into the queue, of players who want to jump through.

4. You will be placed exactly in the newest spot, in the appropriate number of the queue.

5. As long as you dont move or do any physical action, you will still have that queue timer window open, and still physically be engaged in this activity of trying to jump though.


This is a pretty simple idea, and fix. I think its easy to implement and not too contoversial.

Is it wrong that I'm more focused on the weird formatting you used rather than the idea itself? For instance, I can't figure out why you would triple colon (:::) or triple star (***). Bold would be a better way to emphasize ideas.

I too, am too distracted by the useless punctuation of the *'s. Why would you use it when you already have bullets/numbers seperating each line? It distracts from the idea at hand, and gives the appearance of trying to make out certain points like they are key standalone features.

I like the idea. I would love it if the queue could be physically represented with the formation of a line of ships extending from the start gate. Then it would look like a jammed highway exit/entrance ramp, which is what that stargate is.

Better idea, clear Stealth bombers for high sec deployment.

Seriously start selling in other hubs if its that big a friggin deal. Or better yet populate the other systems into one giant megahub of trade. The fact of the matter is anyone not willing to go one ******* jump outside jita (or even outside 4-4) isnt worth your isk anyway.

I get jita's a big friggin deal (hell until my recent project i kept an unnamed private alt in there to handle sales) But there are way's around this. And people buying things should be willing to expand their focus a bit. Same with the sellers.

Now I am not sure if there is any need of fixing, but - if one would want to - one option would be fiddling with taxes.

Eg.: Dodixie might have a lower sales tax, to attract business. Not unheard of in the 'real world' either.

Know how to fix Jita being full? Every race has a trade hub. Use one of them.

Spamming jump would be so much quicker, this only benefits the idiots who autopilot. Therefore this is a terrible idea.

Outlaws or people with bad faction standing against caldari can't just sit around and wait.

The easiest solution is to simply spam jump, because you'll get in that way quite easily.

Supporting the lazyass people is no solution whatsoever.
