anyone else getting this problem?

sorry probably shouldent start a thread about this but is anyone else getting this message when they try to log in?

Client data is corrupted. Starting the application through the EVE Launcher will attempt to repair the data. A new installation must be downloaded manually if the issue persists.

i have downloaded a fresh copy of eve twice. still same message. what should i do?

Did you try unisntalling EVE first? Then totally purging the directory of all files manually.

Maybe installing to a different location would help.

I recommend running the repair tool, or, barring that not working, reinstalling the client. Either one should do the trick, and you won't have to worry about malware/spyware from using third party sites.

actually simply downloading the patch and unpacking it in your eve client folder will do the trick
