No more long session fleet ops for you for a couple years.
Doubt the wife will be quite so understanding when it is your turn to change the diapers and you say "honey, can't make it, we are about ready to hotdrop."

Uhm, I'm not sure that Tuxford is ready for children. Doesn't he understand that once a toddler learns to walk and climb, they have a tendency to exhibit more emergent behavior than an entire peak population of Eve players?

edit: And toddlers don't forget. They remember everything you say or do around them. There's no "oops unplugged the database server'"to get them to unremember what mommy said when daddy said that hotdrops were more important than diaper changes...

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

aww thanks you guys.

Baby is healthy and doing fine and so is his mother. Can't really say he's difficult to take care of.

I wanted to name him Loki but got vetoed Sad probably not for a reason you'd guess though P

My friend recently had a kid and she told me "He's boring, he doesn't do anything".

I told her to cherish that memory.

EDIT: Also, in Iceland (assuming that's where you are) isn't naming really strict? Like you have to pick from a list of approved names?

Gratz Tux. Enjoy the quiet while you can. Trust me, once it ends, it's gone for at least 16 years.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Does this mean we can add, in the near future, baby formula to the list of things you've spilled on the servers? P Congratulations!

It's not as strict as it used to be. Mostly they just really care about how it fits into the grammar. For example they recently accepted the name Ripley even though it doesn't mean anything in Icelandic and has no history in Iceland as far as I know. Then again it's fairly silly that the government has any say in what I name my kid. I mean as long as it isn't "DROP TABLE *"

Shocked Oh wow, I thought the Icelandic naming thing was just tradition, not some kind of law...
