you can stay a 1 race character then be that person that posts here in a few years saying "isnt it about time Minmatar got some love? All the other races seem OP", or you can train yourself such that you can fly anything and never worry about a nerf or buff.

It depends on what you plan on doing, a battleship is not a bad choice for level 4 missions. There are areas where the battleship is clearly outperforming the battlecruiser, but the battlecruiser really is a all-round solid and useful in both pvp and pve content.

The gunnery skills need to fly the battleship is the same as for the battlecruiser, i would say get large guns and battleship 4 and max out cruiser/battlecruiser 5 and medium guns with good gunnery support skills before going large guns and battleship 5.

Then take a look at the new HAM cyclone if you really stick with those 2 neuts, this thing is going to make more than one cry about minmatar.

Brutix? -yes got better, balanced? -no but go ahead and train for it, Astarte is looking really sexy these days, as much as my XL ASB Sleipnir. (can fly both so no big deal)


Do you actually realise how much losing a med neut is? really do you? Im not saying its not right to remove it. BUT it makes a big difference.

Yes. The skill split will happen with the summer patch (so late May - early June, given CCP's past scheduling).

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

This man speaks truth. All I have left is Amarr battleship and the T2 energy weapons and I will be officially "nerf-proof"

Doubling the number of ships you can fly for half the training time counts as "too much for just a few"?

The reason people cross-train is because it's so much faster for such large gain than going farther up the same racial ship progression.

Yes it does make a difference, now the ship is more balanced then it ever was, what's the problem with this?

I still got mines and will use them, feel free to contract me all of those you don't want because they suck. Want double neut? -fit a cyclone.

It's a shame the hurricane got nerfed nerfed nerfed. Even the drake had at least one little beneficial change to make up for the detrimental ones

Gotta love all the winmatar pilots crying over the Hurricane changes. OMG MY *EASYMODE* BC ISN'T SUPERIOR TO ALL OTHER BCS IN EVERY ROLE ANYMORE. Its way closer to being in line with the other BCs than its been in a LONG time.

The hurricane FOTM has lasted years, glad to see some balance finally
